"what can I say about the malthouse farm, this is the second time that I myself and my man stayed in the hotel and used the pub for meal and drinks. the staff is friendly and helpful, there is a lot of choice for eating, which will eat to perfection and abundantly cooked. the selection of drinks is also very diverse. the outside area is clean and very nice. many thanks once again for a nice weekend that is spent with them, we will be back."

malt house is a quintessential country English. what distinguishes it is its excellent selection of alcohol-free beer and vegetarian means of life. I had a vegetarian.

The restaurant used to offer an excellent peppered wild mushroom starter and tasty sausages. The outdoor seating is nice, with the option to feed the ducks near the canal.

We have tried to dine at this restaurant twice during our stay at the Premier Inn next door, but unfortunately, we were unable to secure a reservation. My suggestion would be to make sure you book in advance!

This is a great place. Located in beautiful Wheelton. Total pub expierence, great menu, wait staff spry and effective. The menu was quote sophisticated and varied. Have a family luncheon with ten guests you won't be disappointed

"A wonderful pub with a lovely restaurant. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious and fresh, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is situated right on the canal, providing a beautiful setting for a scenic walk after a satisfying meal! We will definitely be coming back!"

Perfect long lunch with a friend. Service impeccable and the ever evolving menu means there is something for everyone, smaller or lighter options to hearty meals. We didn't have desserts so can't comment on them but our food was freshly prepared and good quality. A regular favourite place for lunch.

beautiful, beautiful and cozy pub restaurant. it looked and felt clean when we came in. my huh, lick and mushroom cake was wonderful and portion size exactly right. I never used the toilets, but my man did it and he gave them lace marks for cleanliness and was intrigued by the toilet articles. must try.
