"DON’T GET THE CHICKEN WITH LEMON. We had the potato pasta which was good and it was a nice “surprise pasta” he recommended. Wish I had got the same. I decided to get the Chicken with Lemon. It was a white, bland, and hard. Look terrible, but the service was good. The guy had a good and friendly attitude. The food however was alright at best. The bread was dry and stale. I asked about exchanging my chicken for the pasta. I had already ate it but since I was with company I didn’t wanna make a big deal about it. I said I would still pay for the chicken but since the chicken was terrible instead of taking it off the bill if I could just get the exchanged pasta for less. Since all the chicken was a thin breast that was pure white and flavorless. When I stepped to the side to ask about it he wasn’t as friendly. He kept asking why I didn’t like it even after I said my reasons, then proceeded to say he didn’t understand why I would want the pasta instead. Then he avoided me for the rest of the dinner. We ordered tiramisu it was bad. It came in a cup. Coco on top and what tastes like the bottom of a coffee pot on the bottom. Then when we were done we asked for a coffee to go and he gave us it double cupped in plastic. The plastic was melting I couldn’t even separate the cups. I really wanted to like this place but so much kept going wrong with it."

Antipasto misto ottimo ed abbondante. Favolosa la pizza col bordo ripieno di ricotta. Prezzi normalissimi (antipasto+pizza+acqua e caffè euri). Personale giovane, carinissimo e cordiale. Ottimo !!!!

Siamo arrivati per caso e dopo avere scambiato qualche battuta con Maurizio fuori dal locale, la sua schiettezza e sincerità napoletana ci hanno fatto venire voglia di provare la cucina al centro di Firenze! Che dire, oltre la simpatia di tutti, ci hanno deliziato le bistecche e le patate al forno, e le pizze stile partenopeo saporite e gustose, con ingredienti di qualità! Prezzo più che onesto, vicino al mercato di San Lorenzo una meravigliosa scoperta e un invito a chiunque venga da queste parti a godersi un bel momento di relax!

We thoroughly enjoyed the last dinner of our stay in Florence at Mama Napoli! Mauricio is so warm and welcoming. He truly wants every guest at the restaurant to have a delicious meal and memorable experience. Our meals were fantastic and arrived quickly. Mauricio made us feel like we were the only people in the entire restaurant. We highly recommend the Florentine steak for two, the ravioli Cellini, and the surprise pasta. Mauricio was so accommodating for our son, who has braces, when he had trouble eating a dish that was very cheesy. Mauricio happily brought him a different pasta.

We were supposed to go to this restaurant that is very busy next door, But then we saw this one. Everybody was smiling and happy and The food served was delicious so... We got convinced. And we are absolutely not disappointed. How can a pizza be better than that ?!?! It was so very delicious, The kids had one full pizza each (and one is 5 years old... The other one is eight). The wine was great. Price were amazing We also had the octopus salad that was beautiful and tasty and fresh. Loved it and would come back definitely !!! I know the kids will want to come back for that delicious pizza Margarita
