we were looking for a nice and casual place to dine in the heart of paris and found mamou via yelp. What a treat! the place was very comfortable and welcoming. Our hostess was charming: friendly and fluent in English. the chef came to welcome us and told us about several options of dishes we ordered, even slightly changed the menu to meet our desires. We were delighted by our dinner at mamou. the frame is sober, with beautiful lithographs of the betting roofs hung on the wall. The hardest thing for us was to order, because everything made us want. The food was perfect, from the amusing mussel cream mouth to almost so tender calf that it melts in the mouth before we thought to chew it. the dessert with speculos cream was delicious and original. Looks like the chief's got a lot of trouble hopping everything at the same temperature. the entrance had a fish sauce with a crustacean. . . all different temperatures.
