Mamounia Lounge - Mayfair

I arrived at 12:15 for my booking with my sister to celebrate her birthday, we arrived to the place being cleaned and were told they don’t serve food until 2:30pm and only drinks were available??? We had to leave and go elsewhere- terrible service

I had originally booked the “lounge” for shisha, however once we arrived we saw that the “lounge” area was just a few tables on the pavement and we decided to have dinner instead. The food actually exceeded our expectations. So delicious and flavoursome, I will definitely be going back for dinner. Ver carta

The food was mediocre at best. A shocking and gross incident occurred during our meal when a mouse ran out, which was completely unexpected. It is unacceptable for a restaurant to have mice present while people are eating. I will not be returning to this establishment and feel it should be closed down.

Looked a bit like a nightclub and the music was a bit loud but, on request, they very kindly turned it down so we could catch up with our friends. We love Lebanese cuisine and this didn't disappoint. In fact, if i could give 4.5 stars for food, I probably would. Excellent and efficient service, and with their OT special offer, excellent value

Poor quality food for such a great location. We ordered the mix grill and the lamb mashoui, but the mix grill was bland and the lamb had no flavour and burnt on one side. The presentation of the dishes were as though we were in a kebab takeaway shop and not a high end restaurant. To top it off the fork I had was bent. There was no atmosphere, a DJ then came and started playing loud house music. We had to shout to talk to each other on the table Ver carta

The ambience was lacking, it was dark but not cosy, felt a little seedy! Food was very average and some felt like it had been warmed up. The mixed vegetables were simply frozen vegetables, we expected fresh seasonal vegetables, not hard to get these days! We thought the menu was expensive for what we got maybe because it’s in Mayfair. Portions were on the small size and nothing exciting, quite bland. I will not be going back again, I think the rating for this on this App is very inaccurate.

Based on Secret London's recommendation, I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. I was expecting a fancy and luxurious dining experience, but instead, I found the service to be disorganized and the atmosphere lacking. The food was just okay, although I only tried the sharing platter. The baklava was not up to par, as it was a soggy mess of syrup-soaked sponge and hard pastry. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and would not choose to dine here again.

Our experience at this restaurant was not great. We received the wrong food order, which was bland and we didn't finish it. Despite our request for an apology gesture, we received none. The lack of a notepad for taking orders accurately likely led to the mistake. Additionally, there is a sit-down fee of £5 per person on top of the shisha price, and customers are required to share tables with others, which we found to be absurd. As a result, we decided to leave the shisha place and go to another lounge after dinner. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we have no plans to return. We do not recommend going out of your way to dine at this restaurant. Ver carta
