During an afternoon in Leer we came across the restaurant 's menu. Because we were early there was still a table available. The food, which is prepared over charcoal in the semi-open kitchen, tasted 'in a word ' fantastic! The Turkish restaurant has an attractive, somewhat modern design. The menu is varied. The service is smooth, but could be a little more 'hostess/host '. A good choice for a tasty and atmospheric meal. Make sure you reserve in advance!

Since Germany is the first European country to introduce the kebab, we of course had to try it out during our visit to Leer. Although the service leaves something to be desired (a bit disinterested), the food was on the table quickly and looked very neat. The dishes are prepared on charcoal and you can taste it. The lamb kebab was delicious and not too heavily seasoned, so the flavor of the lamb was not lost. The chicken skewer was very tender and well seasoned. We think the fresh salad with mainly arugula could have been replaced by a piece of grilled vegetables or something similar. That would fit better.
