"cafe is at the marina many chairs outside to sit some with sun umbrellas and a fair cafe in many tables. at an end of the caffe is a small part area that offers a separate entrance for people who eat outside. I sat inside and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was waiter service. there is a quite reasonable menu with the English breakfast and various meal times for lunch or afternoon meal like cake and tee. I had a tee cake without jam, of course, only with butter, as it should be according to my opinion, and it was already baked, which was great, as it saves to spread around with this little butterpack and spread it yourself. I don't know where to buy their tee cake, but that was the most beautiful tee cake I've ever had in my long life, and my cappuccino was also delicious, and all reasonable prices in a basic café and served by a very pleasant waitress."

most beautiful chicken or ham salad we had in a long time, home cooked ham or marinated chicken, cousin, beetroot salat, coleslaw, marinated tomatoes, kartoffelsalat, reissalat and spinat leaves, much of it and really delicious. beautiful looking cake for dessert, will definitely be back and takeaway too! each one for a sound!

really nice visit today for coffee and hot chocolate with my mom, friendly service and great drinks. especially impressed when the owner bollo* had a few numpty sitting on my shoulder when I tried to pay and let him withdraw! in years this is the first time I have ever seen, a restaurant coffee shop enforced some social distancing, they see soon.

I like Manillas because of its quirkyness. Its not all about formica tops and starch aprons, matching furnishings and baked beans in a silly bucket! A good old fashioned t-pot with proper cups etc. Lovely home made cakes that appear to cater for most dietary needs. Foods fairly basic but that's fine for me, it's a cafe with extras, not the Ritz. It's in a great location right next to the marina and in the warm weather, fab to sit outside and just take in the scenery.

"And lucky old us wow! This was a great surprise, we had no idea we were coming into something so unusual and so good. The garden space is very big and on the lawn, amongst the flowers, herbs and vegetable beds sit tables and chairs, mainly made of roughly hewn wood, plus tenty sheddy structures with heaters, teepee looking things and probably other structures I didn't take in.We were there when it was dark and there were strings of lights throughout the garden and it was all stunning and rather difficult to take in!The service was occasionally scatty but always well meaning and pleasant and mostly very professional and rightly proud of what they do, the place and the food they serve. The food! We were so thrilled with the food after some not very good experiences locally and, as others have said, we wished we'd found it earlier and been able to book another night.I had the pork belly which must have been cooking for hours, apart from the rind (not exactly crackling but still crispy and wonderful) I could cut the meat with my fork love to know how to achieve it. No taste had been lost in the cooking process and the fat was there but was kind of crumbly so it was gorgeous. And it came with great slices of home pickled carrot and fennel which was just delicious with a hint of sweetness and a hint of spice. And a puree which I believe was cauliflower. And don't forget the delicious little black pudding rissole that comes with it.As you can see, I could go on and on! My partner loved his succulent lamb, which was served with the same vegetables. Oh, and we had side dishes of seasonal greens and roasted beetroot and goats cheese these were also yummy and well flavoured, side dish didn't mean unimportant.Sadly, we didn't have dessert, what can I say, bet they're ace. This is far too long, do visit if you can it's a real treat with great cooking and lovely people."
