Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Grill

This is the second time we have visited, the return visit was just as good as the first. Both time we have been in large group bookings for birthdays and the tables were decorated beautifully. The food was cooked perfectly and all meals arrived together despite being a group of 8. Both times we’ve visited we’ve had the same waitress which is lovely to have a familiar face. Can’t wait to return.

I went to this restaurant for an afternoon tea and it was truly amazing. The service was outstanding and it was a special treat for my mom's birthday. We had a prosecco afternoon tea and it was delicious. The food was exceptional and the overall ambiance, along with the attentive service, made it a memorable experience. I could go on and on about how wonderful our visit was. Thank you for making it so special.

We made a reservation here to celebrate a graduation, with steak and wine being our main focus. The scallops for starters were delicious and cooked perfectly. We tried a variety of steaks, and my fillet was cooked perfectly rare, just the way I like it. The service was friendly and professional. The only critique would be that the accompaniments could have been more generous. However, the complimentary "Congratulations" desserts and champagne made up for it!

Dining at Marco's restaurant was a disappointment, especially considering the chef's background from Masterchef Australia. The beetroot dish lacked the masterful touch one would expect, with the beetroot being too cold and overpowered by the sweet nuts. The lamb main course and potato fondant were also underwhelming, as the lamb was overcooked and the fondant had clearly been reheated, resulting in a dry and unappetizing meal. Overall, the dining experience fell short of expectations and is one we would rather forget.

Nice relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. I had the French onion soup which looked amazing when it arrived but unfortunately it tasted like a dish of brown water, really disappointing. To follow I had the fillet steak (medium rare) with garlic king prawns. The prawns were just ok but the steak was so tough I had to leave most of it. I’ve never left fillet steak before, ever! And being a steak bar I expected better. At this point I thought it best not to bother with dessert. Overall it was quite disappointing as we had a lovely evening celebrating my partners birthday but was let down by the food. I think Marco needs to pay a surprise visit.

We visited from Manchester as a trip for my fiancé’s birthday. We made this known on the booking and were greeted with a balloon a confetti on the table. Our waitress, Megan, was very attentive and friendly and there for us throughout the meal. We had French onion soup and calamari to start, both of which were delicious (we actually keep talking about the soup! . We both had a filet steak for our main and were given the choice of steak knife which I thought was a nice touch. We also had a side of mac and cheese and everything was absolutely delicious. Dinner at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse started well. The room is attractive, the welcome friendly, the tables generous and well spaced. The service was excellent, warm and friendly and professional. What was not so good was the food. My Cesar salad starter was a bed of the sort of lettuce which comes from a bag, no flavour and no crisp texture; a few bits of avocado added did nothing, neither did the mean helping of parmesan shavings and bits of anchovy and weak Cesar dressing. My steak was done properly, chips were good but my partner's fish and chips was badly let down by the key ingredient, a small and thin fillet of cod which was mean and dry and for some reason sat on...

Booked the restaurant way back in March.It was my wife sisters and husband 30th wedding anniversary and also our 10th wedding anniversary. First of all we couldn't fault the service the staff where excellent. Had our starters which where 2 french onion soups smoked salmon and the scotch egg which where very nice. But now the main courses arrived my wife had the lamb which was ok but 2 small pieces and we ordered 3 ribeye steaks 2 cooked medium to well done and mine cooked medium. We had a fab fab meal here following a very kind invitation from Paul. Also a huge shout out to Agnes, you are a credit to the team here your recommendations were spot on every time!! For starters we had calamari scallops with black pudding. I’ve always thought I wasn’t a fan of black pudding but it would appear I have been wrong for years this starter has won me over. The scallops were velvety melt in the mouth. The calamari has reinstated my husband’s faith in the dish as he’s had some underwhelming ones recently he couldn’t stop raving about it.
