In the gallery the photos are shown correctly (if our photo filters appear to be worthy) I had already written in January, we had decided to honor the outer surface of the Landhaus Steinbeck with a visit in beautiful weather. How well we enjoyed the kitchen already in winter at the Wednesday menu for two, I no longer have to put it out. This is a short report on Sunday afternoon. June 05 was the first summer day in Münsterland, really hot! And then the Vikings begin to suffer. Too many summer sprouts in combination with red hair and bright skin mean acute sun protection or suffering in the evening. So we went from Rheine towards Steinbeck. Along the Dortmund-Ems Canal and the Gravenhorst Monastery, you arrived in 1.5 hours and we saw the already described garden. Unfortunately, I could not take photos, but this very well maintained outdoor area is extremely lovingly designed, which continues from the interior of the house without interruption to the outside. We had reserved ourselves two days before the table. You wouldn't have had a table without reservation last night. The card was passed, it can be seen on the HP. We first ordered a large bottle of water owed to thirst. We ate:Fischterrine from Zander Lachs in the Mangold coat on Spargel-Tomaten-Salat and Basilikum-Vinaigrette for both of us. It was as delicious as it looks. And in combination a large cold summer appetizer. The asparagus al dente, marinated with a delicious vinaiigrette. Tomatoes and strawberry, a good combination. Excellent the terrines of salmon and zander. In the main course for my wife RAVIOLI filled with ricotta and figs, with green asparagus and cherry tomatoes in a sage butter sauce and planned Grana Padano I did not try but my wife raised the thumb. For me it should be: KIKOK chicken breast fillet “Supreme” on the elder sauce, with Mango Risotto and méditerranean vegetables from the wok bowl The chicken was perfectly prepared on the bone, juicy and with a pink skin. Under the keyword Kikok you can google what the name means. Add fresh, crunchy vegetables and a sweet and acidic risotto that made milky sounds high. But it tasted great for me and it fits very well for chicken. A very tasty main course. A Blanc de Noir Deep Blue from 2014 from the WG Tesch from Langenlonsheim. Delicious and blessed with a lot of terroir, the grape variety is not specified in this issue. To dessert only two espresso we had to make a coffee and cake appointment with friends. This is difficult for the offered dessert card. The service was safe and friendly through the garden and the guest orders. The ambience is very lovingly designed and everything else is modern and clean. Conclusion: If the country house offers just as good services during our further planned visits, I have opened a new favourite here for me. We're coming back! Also on Pentecost Monday 2018, my wife and I fed very well back in the Landhaus Bad Steinbeck. In addition, one of the best guesthouses in the district ST"
