Excellent food and a good choice of wines, staff where also very friendly. Menu is a little more expensive than your typical restaurant but you get your value for money.

Sadly we were not impressed, food was edible but thats about it, the Schnitzel Cordon Bleu was pretty tasteless and chewy, first Schnitzel in Bavaria on our first night out there and sadly put us off trying it again for the rest of our holiday, pity as most of the reviews were good, sadly for us it wasnt so good...

Surprisingly good restaurant in a small town. Excellent venison dishes including "Rehbraten" (deer roast) and baked chicken salad. Ample portions. Good selection of premium beers and wine. Very moderately priced. Paid Euro 80.00 (USD 106.40) with tip for four. Pleasant Bavarian atmosphere and excellent service including private attention by the owner.

The restaurant is a strange mix of Bavarian with a touch of French and American (think Ruby Tuesday). The menu was Bavarian plus a good selection specials. Service. On Monday very good. Helpful young lady server, who spoke English, and even found a copy of a menu in English from somewhere. On Tuesday a different young lady server who seemed to find customers a nuisance, and foreign customers doubly so. However, the food was excellent.

My wife and I came upon this restaurant accidentally as it is opposite a very highly rated one on trip advisor closed on Monday night.The welcome was genuine and we were quickly seated. The service was always attentive and friendly. Our drinks came promptly. A nice selection of wines from various countries. You are not stuck with only German wines!I had cordon bleu and my wife had a schnitzel. Both were served with excellent chips and a lovely side salad. The meals were solid comfort food.We didn't require deserts but saw others which looked good.A great place to try if staying around Schliersee.
