A little gem hidden away in a quiet part of Sussex. Recently refurbished and looks amazing. Food is cooked to perfection. Staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit, but failing that they deliver as well. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

I don't typically leave reviews, but I believe Masala Lounge deserves a 5-star rating. We have dined here many times and have also brought friends along. The food has always been consistently excellent, the service is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Gents toilets. Needs a proper deep clean. Cobwebs and dirty dusty pipes. Trays of uncovered condiments left nearby. Hey guys, if we the customers can see the poor state of your public bathroom areas, food left (in the corridor, poppudom stuff) uncovered outside then our confidence in you kitchen hygenie leaves a lot to be desired. Superb restaurant, recently refurbished, looks fantastic. Food excellent, great portions, hot fresh food, service great and lovely atmosphere. Nice small restaurant so booking advisable. Delicious chicken korma, pilau rice and peshwari naan. My favourite. Probably the best traditional indian I've had in Sussex! Be back soon. Nb had a delivery from here too, excellent! This Indian restaurant and takeaway is a hidden gem. I visited on a Saturday night and decided to dine in for a rare curry treat. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. The food was delicious, with highlights being the garlic naan bread, onion bhajis, plain and vegetable pilau rice, chicken Xacuti, and chicken Dharjiling Special - all very tasty with plenty of chicken. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. While the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, the takeaway seemed popular. If this restaurant was local to me, I would definitely visit or order regularly. It's definitely worth a try.

we have been ordering from here for years. the last few months, the food and service has gone down hill. Everytime we order, we ask for my husbands food to be in a separate bag as his curry is really spicy and leaks everywhere. the last 3 times this hasn 't happened. last night it exploded all over my rice, naan, and the bajis. these were then not consumable as I can 't eat spice. to top if off, I ordered a vegetable korma and got a vegetable dansak. we called to have it amended and was told it 's fine, it 's vegetable, there 's no meat, you can eat it. it is very different on the spice level as apose to the korma I ordered they then got a korma out to me which the vegetables were not cooked...
