The food was excellent with huge portions. We have never eaten there before and decided to try someplace new. We were pleasantly surprised. I had the best eggplant on the vegetation platter that I have ever eaten. The meal ended with some wonderful schnapps. Ver carta

Came here with some friends on a Saturday night. The restaurant is located in downtown Wiesbaden and they have their own parking lot with a few stalls. Although we didn’t know about the parking until we were already there it is definitely a plus since...street parking is hard to find and the parking platz rates are expensive. I’ve never had Croatian food so I asked our server for recommendations. We, a group of four, decided to try out the Croatian restaurant Mauritius in Wiesbaden. We sat outside on the front patio, and were promptly greeted and seated. Our server, Eli, came immediately and took our drink orders. Next, we ordered the Genghis Khan Sword,...#42, for four people. When they brought it out, the huge platter on which it was served took up most of the table, it was so large. It had five different meats, lamb chops, rump steak, pork steak, hamburger steak and bacon, vegetables, and French fries. My friend and I ordered the liver with onions which was excellent! Portion size was generous. It comes with a heaping portion of fried potatoes that are pretty unique and tasty. The problem was with our waiter who did not seemed to thrilled to be...there. He asked us if we were done but before we could respond, he mentioned that he needs to clear the table for other patrons that are waiting to be seated. When he initially sat us at our table, he did not mention that our table was reserved nor was there a reserved sign on our table.
