"We were on a day tour of Civita di Bagnoregio and Orvieto and wanted to have an authentic Umbrian meal in Orvieto. Our guide arranged this restaurant for us and we were treated like royalty. The owner gave us very special attention. We decided at our guide’s suggestion to do the wine tasting with our meal and tasted 6 different selections, all so flavorful and very different from one another, both red and white varieties. We also had cheese wedges with balsamic vinegar I know it sounds unappealing but was actually very good. We then sampled 3 different balsamic vinegars produced here and were surprised by the variety of flavors in the 15, 26 and 50+ year old blends. Our pasta dish was very delicately flavored. Our guide had a boar pasta dish that also looked good and is a very authentic Umbrian dish. We did not order it due to concerns it could be too gamey tasting but it smelled delicious. We topped it all off with a dessert aperitif and an orange type pie. We were so full and truly felt we experienced true Umbrian hospitality and cuisine. Don’t miss this restaurant!!! Great service, great atmosphere and truly friendly owner/staff. It made our day very special."

We had great service, excellent food and a fun balsamic tasting, which introduced us to the complexities to the art of making balsamic vinegar. We bought some to ship home.

Eravamo un folto gruppo, con menù concordato. impossibile quindi valutare a tutto tondo questa visita. Sicuramente cibi freschi e ben preparati. Da menzionare l' ottimo servizio e la gentilezza del personale di sala. Ver carta

Service was exception great young guy who bought us tastings of the house olive oil balsamic vinegar Parmesan coupled with a fantastic lasagna pappardelle al ragu with rosemary oil. The quality of this meal was really good.

Eravamo un gruppo di persone : il cibo era di ottima qualità , anche il servizio è stato veloce ,nonostante sia stato un gruppo, abbiamo mangiato e bevuto bene , peccato che abito a km ca , di distanza altrimenti verrei spesso ad assaggiare le specialità di questo locale peraltro molto carino e romantico, continuate cosi , grazie
