May Link Chinese - Carta

My wife phoned for a takeaway to be delivered at 17-15, finally arrived at 19-30, it was fairly expensive and absolutely rubbish,we would never use them again!!!!!!!

Takeaway I used to use when I lived in the area but not only did they order me an extra dish (which I paid for thinking the prices were higher than expected), but the food was very mediocre and no soy sauce available to buy with a takeaway. Would not go there again.

I’m really sorry to say that this is quite simply the worst most revolting food I have ever ordered. If it’s not swimming in grease and saturated in salt it tastes awful. Quite possibly the worst Chinese food. Sloppy, salty, greasy and far from authentic. On an up note it’s on your plate rather quick from point of order. Ver carta

What makes for an entirely reasonable takeaway is a slightly disappointing restaurant meal, but they actually had tables available so I can't complain. This is a step above a bog-standard Chinese takeaway as it's not just off-the-shelf sauces, but I didn't find any surprises here. Also the wine was impressively cheap, so a large group should be able to have a fun evening on a budget.

A meal that is normally around the £15 mark cost us £23.70! Food was chewy and tasted of bleach which put us off finishing our food. Also asked the guy for BBQ sauce and got sweet and sour! Waste of time and money. The food went in the bin less than five minutes after opening it and we went to McDonald’s instead! I would strongly suggest people looking for a takeaway avoid this place! All round bad experience!

Been visiting maylink, formerly spring link, for most of my 48 years on the planet, but two weeks ago and again last night the chicken and mushroom curry has tasted really salty. I ate it out of pure ****** mindedness, as I'd paid for it and travelled home with it- but this morning my tongue and cheeks are sore. Will not bother visiting again, we thought two weeks ago was a blip but last night's was worse. Sorry Maylink, but Yuk!!! Ver carta

Used to use all the time but they have really gone downhill, the food is bland with flavour, we had sweet and sour chicken and the chicken had a strange taste, it was not flavouring. The chips tasted like they had been cooked around 3 times or left out then cooked as they were very dry. Prawn crackers were very greasy and the pancake roll was running with grease. They don’t seem to have any consistency with their cooking anymore. We won’t be returning customers and I’ve heard a lot of other people are saying the same, there are much better places in Malvern with better quality and value. Sorry Maylink, it’s time you close all your doors.

I have left reviews of Maylink before however i have not had a Meal from there for some time. So i decided on a Takeaway I had the Honey King Prawns these were plentiful Cooked perfectly the sauce is so good one of my favorites. Then i had the Beef Chow mein, again perfect lots of slices of tender beef with noodles etc Really tasty dish. Also we had the Sweet Sour Chicken the sweet Sour Sauce is the best around the chicken was tender coated in a light batter. Egg fried rice was nice as well not greasy or overcooked,,,Just perfect. And the Banana Fritters are superb. It was a great tasting take away cooked really well. offering great value which is great to........

i have not used Maylink for some time i fancied Chinese so i managed to get through on the phone to place my order. What with the Covid 19 going on there are not many Take Aways open so i did have to wait which i was expecting. I decided on Sweet Sour Chicken Cantonese, Honey King Prawns Beef Chow Mien Fried Rice. he chicken on the sweet sour was soft tender and tasted fresh The honey king prawns as always were a good size cooked perfectly and tasted excellent The Beef chow mien was delicious beef was tender chow mien tasted great more importantly was NOT GREASY.
