Another superb meal from May Flower Consistency is a skill, and they proved they have the skill of good food, once again. Food was on time, fresh and tasted delicious. Couldn’t recommend this place any higher... Spot on.

Well put my order in said it be 40 mins and 15 mins knock on door food out of this world see you next week thanks same again salt and pepper ribs chips soup anyone looking for something to have boiled rice with happy family loads off meat and vegetables. Cheap and fast getting food out Ver carta

Love the Mayflower cater to my needs as I'm allergic to nuts and they advise me with everything and tbh most of the meals are fine not like other chippies that won't even serve me chips as they don't know if the oil contains peanuts. Salt and pepper meals are great with the noodles my fave meal

I called in to order food and waited while it was cooked. The place was freezing, the staff all had fleeces on and there was obviously no heating. The special fried rice wasn't special in any way. No chicken, char Sui or fried egg on top, just three big prawns (which I don't like). The rice was over cooked and it lacked flavour. Never again.

Order salt an pepper chips which we got delivered was not salt an pepper chips food is bland no taste to it the fried rice turned up as boiled rice supose to be fried rice what hi again was not don’t waste your money there .17 pounds for boiled rice 2 none salt an pepper chips and one tiny chicken breast an two gravy which was disgusting unfortunately Ver carta

2 years ago and I'd given this place 5 stars. Recently ordered a meal and half of it had been severely overcooked to a point which made it inedible and as a result was swiftly put in the bin. I then complained via Just-Eat and the Mayflower refused to acknowledge they had sent out a substandard meal. You have been warned.... Just look at the other recent reviews.

I visited the Mayflower and ordered Satay Chicken on sticks and I have to say it was the nicest Chicken Satay I've ever eaten, lovely flavours and cooked to perfection , and the pinapples in the sauce were delicious and juicy, an extra bonus! Very friendly staff, family run business. I would recommend, and I will definitely be returning! Thank you, my compliments to the chef!

Went to this chippy one Saturday night,we phoned our order in so it would be ready when we arrived,the Chinese food was ready but had to wait for chips.I asked how much it was and the Chinese lady said it was exactly £19, i said that I was being overcharged as it was about £1-50 cheaper with the prices up on the board in the chippy and in the menu, she looked a bit sheepish and just said it has gone up.when we got home only five minutes away the Chinese food was cold but the chips were fine.I can’t understand how they can put prices up without putting it on the board and in the menu,I think she was ripping me off. Avoid at all cost,we definitely won’t be going back. Ver carta
