"they write this on the train to house as we just agreed what a nice place is the harbourable. in troon for the day and we wanted to find a place to get out of the fresh wind and have a pint and meal. we were dressed for a winter walk on the beach and wanted to sniff somewhere and relax, so some places felt dressed and on the show. we went off the road that had found the harbourable randomly, and felt happy to have them found! there are two mainbars and a snout; we were offered a stand there. big meal- there was a special board, and load on the menu: we went with gyros, and an old dirty (a deconstructed cheesy chips and steak pee! tw showed the rugby, we could watch, but it was 't on loud, so that they were chatting themselves, and the place is dog friendly, so that we two. left feeling relaxed after what might have been a stressful day. we'll be back if we can. maybe even with a friend who has a dog (which may sometimes be complicated in some bars, but definitely welcomes here . nice staff, especially our main server- we had a nice chat with her great service, cold beer. What else do you want? it has actually been busier and busier, with tables reserved, and fill this modest size space (although I think it has a beer garden complete with hula girl in summer! , so I would suggest booking a head so they are not disappointed. this is the perfect traditional beach pub."

"idyllic location, not too far from the beaten, but enough to be peaceful and relaxing. well ordered, clean, friendly and helpful teamworkers combine to make a very happy experience. our first visit so only a fast coffee and cake, but the coffee was excellent with a perfect cream and only the right starch. kuchen? very good and a reasonable size for the price. personally I would have the lemon meringue pipe a hauch less sweet and more. the lemon smoke the woman tasted more lemony, but also so it was excellent. we're coming back."

"Unequivocally THE Best pizza I had the pleasure to consume The Mexican accompanied by Sweet Potato Fries.... A Tour De Force of fantastic spicy heat and magical pizza base made the culinary equivalent of Robert Rodriguez Desperado a simmering delight of Mexican goodness. Pay by...card on delivery and friendly staff showed what can be accomplished when Artisans decide to provide a fantastic product and service...Estupendo! Chefs Special Moroccan Lamb. To call this merely a Pizza would be do a disservice in equal magnitude as proclaiming a Berber heritage as merely a footnote in antiquity. A beautifully balanced medley of ingredients including an adornment of pomegranate seeds and surprisingly but very thoughtful, slice of lemon to additionally season the dish made for a delicious supper. Highly recommended. The recipe for going to the mattresses, cook up a generous pot of tomato and meatballs for the goombahs. Lets not bother lets drop a dime and call Dough…. The Meatball, a pizza worthy of a Sicilian Vendetta, beautifully presented and not overpowered with bland pseudo meat somethings, as balanced as an MV Agusta (sorry Ducati, you broke my heart)."

"The food was delightful, though the portion sizes were a bit on the large side for me. They have an extensive seafood menu. Our two-course meal for two came to about £70 after tip, not including drinks. I would consider returning for a special occasion, though I wouldn’t recommend ordering the burger like my dad did, as it was quite basic. However, the fish pie was outstanding. Hotel highlights include a great view and a quiet atmosphere."

"Situated a few minutes walk from Troon Seafront on South Portland St. Maharini is a very comfortable dining experience with intimate booths in a nice decor setting. Portions are large so we shared an enormous Tandoori grill of Chicken, Lamb,Ķing Prawn and Shish kebab with rice and cheese nan and poppadums. The grilled meats were accompanied by a piquant, very tasty masala sauce.The young scottish lady serving us was excellent.Very friendly and helpful. The whole meal inc.1beer and table water came to £26. Very reasonable indeed. I thoroughlyRecommend Maharani to anyone seeking a good asian dining experience."
