"The place was rammed on a Tuesday night which meant that service took a while, but it was friendly and accommodating. Once we ordered, food came out pretty quick despite it being busy. The food is average, nothing to rave on about like so many people here. I’d recommend the goats cheese starter for sure. The mains dishes are plentiful but if you’re after elegance, you might want to head somewhere else. Oh, and it’s dirt cheap! "We had a delightful evening meal at this restaurant. We went on a quiet midweek evening, although the weather was bad. We enjoyed a bottle of house red wine for only £15. Our starters included liver and Lohmacun flatbread with spices and lamb, which were both flavorful and generous portions. For our main course, we had chicken guvec and another dish (I can't remember the name) with chicken, garlic, mushrooms, and onions in a creamy sauce, both served with rice in large portions. We were too full to have dessert. The total bill came to less than £60, which we thought was fabulous value."

"I have been visiting this sandwich shop sporadically for about 10 years, but unfortunately, it is currently at its worst. It seems to have recently changed ownership, as I have observed that the amount of filling in the sandwiches has decreased. I usually order the chicken tikka sandwich, but I find the flavor to be very bland compared to how it used to be. It is nowhere near the quality of sandwiches from McKeiths."

"Well I will start with the good points friendly staff and reasonable priced drinks. That’s where it ends we have visited a couple of times to see if our first visit was a one off bad experience. Unfortunately this was not the case people openly vaping in the bar each time we visited with the staff turning a blind eye. On one visit to the gents a couple of young men openly waiting to get into the cubicle and audible snorting and then leaving a couple of seconds later. The place appears to be quite so I can see why the management don’t want to confront these people and possibly lose the trade whoever it’s counter productive as decent people will not want to visit with this sort of thing going on. Green king needs to get a grip as this establishment is supposed to be family friendly I for one wouldn’t take children there. They need to be reported to the local authority as I’m sure they will be breaking the terms of the license."

"Recommended to come here and eat before attending a concert. Found a table and sat down and after 10mins a waitress came and took our order which was our starters and mains. Starter arrived in good time we had the fireman's sharing board which was really nice and big enough for four people to share and our 2 for 1 cocktails also arrived in good time and were nice. Then after that it went downhill we waited over an hour after we had finished our starter for our mains I asked a waitress to see where our meals were when clearly we knew we had been forgotten about she never came back with an answer so with my patience wearing thin I asked a gentleman with a clip board who was directing people to tables . He said he would look into it and came over after about 5 mins to apologise it was their mistake and our order had been missed and offered us a free drink. My friend and I asked for a vodka and lemonade and another a Disarano and coke and a bottle of water which arrived within 6 minutes. Our vodka and lemonades had never seen vodka you couldn't taste it at all but my friend said he could taste his Disarano. We waited another 10 minutes and our mains arrived three of us had posh finger sandwiches and the other had a steak sandwich which she left as it was dripping in fat and the roll was barely baked. Our posh fish finger sandwiches were also dripping in fat with no taste we asked for extra tartar sauce to be told by a different waitress that its in the sandwich so in other words your not getting anymore. There was barely any in. We all ate them as we were hungry but they were poor. We asked for the bill and paid and went elsewhere for a cuppa. We know it was busy with being a pink concert on at the stadium of light I personally don't think there was enough staff on to cope with the volume of people so our first visit put us off from ever returning."
