Upscale, modern European food. Corkage only £10 at lunch, which is an absolute bargain. The set menu is £50 for 3 courses, which is more than worth it.

Top top quality restaurant. Food is French influenced. Service impeccable. Set price menu which is excellent,chose from 1,2 or 3 courses. Quality never comes cheap but this is expectional cooking at a incredibly reasonable price for what you're getting. Enjoy.

It would seem like I always have my best meal of the year towards the end of that year. Last year, it was at Barrafina. This year, The Medlar won me over. My decision to dine here was quite a spontaneous one. However, when I say spontaneous , I really mean reservation made 4 days in advance I 'm not one to take any chances.

A couple of weeks ago I celebrated a fairly depressing birthday so not wanting to do anything major, I booked a table at French restaurant Medlar for myself and @bmcboy. The choice was partly due to glowing reviews the restaurant has received recently and partly due to the fact that is one of the few good places open on a Sunday evening.

Medlar is located in World’s End, right at the very end of the King’s Road in Chelsea. Owned by Joe Mercer Nairne and David O’Connor, who have both honed their skills in some of London’s top restaurants – some of which I’ve had my best meals at (The Square and The Ledbury). I added Medlar to my bucket list as soon as it opened but for one reason or another though I have only just managed to tick this one off. I was really looking forward to our lunch here…

One of the most amazing meal I’ve had in a while and by far the best during my trip to London. The food was just perfect: I have been dreaming of the crab ravioli and the rump of Belted Galloway for the following two nights. On top of that, the service made the difference. Melania, is not just a knowledgeable Sommelier, but also special and brilliant. She literally boosted the quality of the whole experience understanding how to make us happy. Honestly, I cannot wait to go back!

A truly incredible meal and experience. Should easily have a michellin star. Crab ravioli and trout tartare were both immense. Although dish of the day was the beef and chips with bernaise. I could swim in the jus the steak was coated in and just do backstroke all day. Asked for wine reccomendations and all the bottles than came out were top notch. Services impeccable too. Lovely Italian chap had a long chat with us at the end of meal. All in all excellent value for money for quality, taste and flavour.

had dinner here on Saturday night last after a mix up (my fault all) on a Friday night reserve, which was quickly and gracefully managed by the maitre d’. beautiful crab ravioli to begin followed by a cod main and chocolate cake for the desert. we also had a bottle of delicious arbois (2010) chardonnay selected form a very extensive wine list. a little expensive, but a great culinary experience. worth a visit. a little negatiw for us. the top floor is not the most attractive it area, but this is just a personal perspective.

medlar in chelsea feels good. it is a finer it area and they see the ripe and good to do quantity that undoubtedly often navigate their way through what a delightful menu. as a solo dinner, research in the opposite to do, they can feel that they are a little self-confident sitting somewhere that is 't casual dining. Finally, for such a post location, why would they not have a partner, friend or family. I can safely say that not only this place will cost them the convenient eating alone, it is also without air and grace to make them feel that they are not worthy. for the magnificent dining and star service everyone is welcome if they can afford it naturally. her lunch menu is prix fixe with t...
