"To the wonderful owner and staff at Strawberry Teapot, My story starts with a trip planned to this cafe with my mum for her birthday, and will hopefully help to reassure other wheelchair/powerchair reliant customers : Accessibility: The owner had a conversation with us to tell us about their accessibility (there is a step at the front of the store, but access to the outdoor seating behind the cafe without steps . I use a powerchair, which can't, unfortunately, be lifted up with the help of others, but other smaller wheelchairs will still be able to be lifted up past the step on the front door. Despite this powerchair hurdle, we sat outdoors, which was beautifully arranged with summer plants. Food Allergies/ Dietary requirements: My family is a mix of vegetarian, vegan, and meat eater people, which was no problem at all to the staff at the Strawberry Teapot! We had booked in for an afternoon tea and were served three separate food servings (a three tier cake stand per person , filled with sandwiches, cake, scones, and biscuits. These were delectable, and we were even allowed to take the cakes we didn't eat home with us (they were too good to leave behind! . Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful time and will not hesitate to book again. If I could, I would fetch fresh scones every weekend (they were THAT good . Thank you to all the staff there that helped to make the afternoon tea special, you are all wonderful people, and I have no doubt that you will make every other customer's experience just as wonderful. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"Booked for a special birthday celebration dinner. Very disappointed with the food quality especially when you consider the prices reflect what should have been an up market dining experience. G&T 's served in what you would expect water to be served in. For a restaurant of this standard surely Gin bowl glasses would be expected. Both had the confit duck to start, very dry and not 'falling off ' the bone as you would expect. I had the Turbot which was very good with an excellent sauce. My wife had the Dover Sole, this was over cooked and very dry. She ate it with half of my sauce which helped. Served with chips, to be fair they were like under cooked, pale oven chips. Our local pub does better with salt and peppered twice cooked chips. Definitely not what should be expected in a fine dining establishment. Staff were very good though and on this night I was not up to complaining.Will not go again and certainly would not recommend. Interesting to see on the feedback that they never respond, lack of interest maybe ?"

"I visit this restaurant too often but I always have a great experience. I highly recommend the double cooked belly pork and cauliflower cheese. We ordered extra vegetables but they were unnecessary as the portions were great. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I had lunch with friends today and we were pleased to see that the pub was open for food on a Monday. We tried the small plate of fish and chips for £10 and it was delicious and crispy. Even though we were full, we couldn't resist dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"My group of 6, including 2 babies and 3 dogs, arrived at the restaurant hoping to have brunch. We experienced a long wait at the entrance due to short staffing, which made us concerned about slow service once seated. However, once we were seated, our food and drinks arrived promptly. We were pleased with the family-friendly atmosphere and the staff were pleasant and patient with our toddlers. I enjoyed the Miami breakfast with chorizo, although the elderflower fizz I ordered lacked alcohol. Overall, a great experience despite initial concerns."
