"I know the restaurant already for decades and visited every now and than.My last visit was on Friday 18November 2016. i had the octopus salad, which was great and a healthy portion. The "grillteller" as main course was rather huge, meat was not nicely grilled, the standard rice which comes with the dish was watery and not tasty.The special sauce that they serve which had lots of fresh onions and is quite spicy tasted great unfortunately all the meat was dry.The service was good."

"my favourite restaurant! unique view over the wine arch to Verden. family, warm atmosphere, very courteous service. delicious, versatile eating, whether fish or meat, pizza or pasta, sweet and salad, all always top fresh and very pleasant. very good price-performance ratio! ambiente just very tastefully redesigned! come extra from syke three times the week. parking: mostly places are free. "Wir wollten eigentlich im Da Vito speisen, bekamen dort jedoch keinen freien Tisch mehr und uns wurde dieses Lokal empfohlen (da der Inhaber der Bruder ist und ähnliche Gerichte anbietet). Bei dem Lokal handelt es sich um ein Bistrorante - ich interpretiere das mal als gehobenen Imbiss. Das Ambiente gefiel uns. Es waren lediglich die Tische etwas klein und eng beieinander gestellt, sodass man das Gefühl hatte, dem Nachbarn auf dem Schoß zu sitzen. Die Bedienung war gut gelaunt, freundlich und locker drauf - gefiel uns. Auch der Chef war da und hat fleißig mit gewerkelt. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker, die Preise waren gleich denen im normalen Restaurant. Wir waren zufrieden, würden wieder dort essen und bedanken uns für den netten Abend."

"It is really incredible that a small town like Achim has three Italian restaurants, which have now received good to very good reviews from me. In Hamburg Harburg, my last residence, I did not find a single Italian restaurant offering good Italian regional cuisine. Hamburg Hamburg is so big, I don't want to make a judgment. The Da Vito has always been recommended to us from different sides, Germans and Italians. What we did not hear: “The best pizza”, “ground food”, “tolle atmosphere”, “we’re going there at least 2 times a month”, etc pp. We had already tried, unfortunately, on a Monday, but there is rest day. Today it finally worked. We had pleasure in Italian and it was Sunday. I'm glad I called again to make sure that the place is open. “Do you want to book?” asked me a nice lady, “it’s just in alignment”. I just heard at this moment, Piiano Man’ by Billy Joel ... the crowd is shuffeling in ... and decided to follow this point. And that was good. The restaurant was nice about 19.30, although it is quite large. 3 interlocking interiors and a rear covered terrace. All interiors beautifully decorated and equipped with many handwritten panels for specials. Too bad you don't get the same information anywhere. Only when I inspected the “Garten” I learned that I could also have a special truffle dish that I very much appreciate. But be it as it was, we went to pizza anyway. As Amuse Geuele there were hot rolls with a slightly sharp herb oil dip, which was also added pressure to my sweetness; for that he smiled at the pizza, hihi. Unfortunately, the wine map is clear, but the open red from the barrel was good. Veltins as a beer was also no alternative to me. The pizzas of 8 euros each were really good, even if they could have been a bit more chessy in the middle. But that's a good thing. I had the “Da Vito” with garlic, artichokes, fresh tomatoes and parma ham, my sweetheart the “Alfredo” with everything: that was more “sei Stagioni”. The dishes on the neighboring tables also looked very tasty and were thoroughly cleaned up to the last rest. Small pointe on the edge of regional cuisine: I asked for Panzanella, an Italian bread salad, which I actually know mainly from northern Italy. “No,” I said, “we are from Calabria, the Panzanella comes from Apulia; At our home in Achim there are also, but here we make calabresian cuisine” One notices that the two regions directly adjoin each other and that certain dishes on the map certainly do not correspond to the calabrian standard. Another little point. “Why don’t you have a website?” sidiffi asked. “We don’t have time for this,” the nice waiter laughed. Too bad, they probably won't read my post here. The service is very nice and keeps an overview in the greatest chaos. Conclusion: The restaurant definitely sees me again, the 5th star is forgiven when the main dishes starters keep what they promise! After that we were again there and were not so convinced by the pastures. When I order Spaghetti Carbonara italiana (on the special card) and also with the waitress still clarify that it is with a lot of pepper but without the typical German cream and then it is drowned in cream and that is also more than 2 € on the standard card ... maybe the waitress has just prescribed herself. The fact is that my husband was eating his pizza and I got my pasta a lot later. This was okay, but not good. People, there are for 6 basic substances for a carbonara sauce: bacon (possibly Pancetta) gently glazed onions Egg or egg yolk (the spirits separate) grated Parmesan noodle water to bind the sauce lots of pepper Unfortunately, there's a point trigger. The Dependance Mangia è Bevi further down in the street is not safe even before a visit from me: The filled noodles sound too exciting to resist: A giant ravioli filled with figs and parma ham with green pepper and butter sauce, or a girasoli with marons and pears in butter sauce, you won't get it every day. "Wir waren mit vier Personen zu Gast und verzehrten zusammen zwei Pizzen, ein Lamm-Curry sowie ein Gemüse-Pakora mit Tzaziki. Das Lamm-Curry sowie die Pizzen waren sehr gut, das Gemüse-Pakora war eher Geschmacksache. Mittagstisch wird ebenfalls sehr günstig angeboten. An Getränken hatten wir Wasser, Limonade sowie Wein, wobei der Wein mit 3,50 €/025 Liter besonders preiswert ist. Selbstverständlich durfte auch der obligatorische Ouzo aufs Haus nicht fehlen. Alles insgesamt sehr günstig und auf der Speisekarte im Internet nachlesbar. Freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal, nettes Ambiente, Terrasse, Kundenparkplätze vorm und hinterm Haus – was will der Gast mehr?"
