"I tried this place out as it was close to my hotel and I really enjoyed it. I speak very little french and the owner spoke very little english, but somehow we made it work and I had an excellent meal. The menu was simple, a meze platter to start and either kafta or chicken. The mere platter was tasty, the hummus and tabouleh were fresh and flavourful. I chose the kata as my main which was a hearty portion and had very delicious Lebanese flavours. At the end of my meal, the owner insisted I try to tea and baklava and I was so glad I did, the tea was minty and hot and the baklava was flaky and not too sweet. Great meal and would recommend if in the area."

When the tasting plate (good point not to have a extension card) enchants you as much as the humorous boss worthy of a theater coffee!

A great discovery! From the weekend in Lyon, we were looking for a Lebanese restaurant and this one seemed well noted and very friendly. That's exactly the case! Warm welcome, pleasant service, delicious dishes, good advice, really everything was top. The place is very cute, a little intimate.

My wife and I, came from San Francisco and we checked the restaurant Meza. It was one of our highlights in hunting food in France . This Cousy place serving an authentic lebanese food, we loved the Taboule And the falafel and the Moussaka, a complete meal for only 19 euro. The staff were very friendly and the lebanese wine was great. I strongly recommend Meza restaurant, Enjoy !

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
