Mezbaan South Indian Restaurant

I ordered the Medu Vada and Masala Dosa. Overall, the taste was alright but it seemed like they were not very fresh.

The dosas at this restaurant are still top-notch, earning them 5 stars. However, after a recent dinner visit, I have to make a slight adjustment to my review. Previously, I had only dined here for lunch.

can not give any negative reviews thanks to zomato, otherwise I would have it. Why they need to open a restaurant if they are not willing to. also why Indian restaurant. a word avoid if you can. take burger and koks. Ver carta

excellent culinary experience we, member team visited mezbaan and had a great experience. good food and hospitality. ajith and manoj treated us very well and we enjoyed our lunch after a tiresome journey. many thanks for mezbaan team.

Very nice south indian food specially Dosa Nice service Tryout gulab jaam in desert Food gives a feel like ur seating in india. India tourist should tryout the restaurant once. For uk n un ppl should tryout chicken tandoori chicken biryani with Raita

beautiful decoration . after months of the attempt of the North Indian cuisine in edinburgh, mezbaan brings a refreshing change . it has a series of South Indian and North Indian cuisine as well as . we had a masala dosa, a huhn dosa and few ilis. the taste was good. I wouldn't say exceptional, but I'd definitely be worth a try. Ver carta

We had lot of North Indian food during the first days of our stay in Edinburgh so thought to go for South Indian but it was a wrong decision ...we ordered masala dosa , idli etc the taste was not good ...sambhar taste was very bad had lot of salt in it....finally we had to order some daal rice to fill our stomach...so if you are going for South Indian then I would recommend to try something else.

very bad eating, went to dinner and they served raw idli, at the complaining he simply said that it was cooked on the afternoon, although he replaced it with other court, but it seemed like it was our fault. they charge for extra sambhar chutney and what they give with original dish is so less in the amount that I can guarantee that no one can complete the court with this sambhar chutney and they must always ask for extras.

I vividly remember this restaurant for many reasons. Me, my girl and some of our friends were back from our Iverness and Lochness trip and were roaming around in Edinburgh. The girls were quite hungry and demanded a south indian restaurant search the reason being that they were eating breads all days and were quite tired. They wanted something authentically Indian. We had a long argument with me on one side and the girls on the other. My idea was to explore other non indian options as we have been eating indian for years now. But I ended up giving in.
