Beautiful meal and very friendly staff who go above and beyond. The steak was cooked perfectly as you’d expect and the sides were excellent.

visited on Monday, very busy! service, eating and worth excellent! we shared the metzgerblock and followed our waiter, matthews recommended how it can be cooked. the most delicious steak we had.

Highly Recommend, we popped in for lunch didn’t book and they got us straight in, food was amazing as normal and service received from Matt was great just a shame we couldn’t figure out what team he bats for.

poor service and mediocre eating. Bar staff were simply rude would not recommend this place at all if they were ouse money then just maybe they get better service, as on our visit as the placement of the staff was disgusting would not recommend this place...at all that I had better service and steak elsewhere

Had a lovely evening and meal at Miller and Carter on Mosley Street in Newcastle. The food was out of this world two of us shared the platter of steaks and they were cooked to perfection. Special mention to Pippa who served us...brilliantly throughout the night. She was so helpful, pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

Wherever we are there is always a chance a Miller and Carter will tempt us. In this case a Friday night booked well in advance which is probably a good idea as this city centre location is very popular. We had a great night. Excellent...table location, buzzing atmosphere and good service all outdone by the food. Perhaps the exception being starters as I didn't rate the sticky chicken. However the chateaubriand and sirloin both got a huge thumbs up and the banoffee pie and Espresso Martini brownie combo finished it all off. Good drinks selection too. A really nice night.

Having visited this place many times and always good except this time . My wife son and I went for the wife's birthday a bit of a tradition. All went well including the over priced undersized scallop (another time) My wife ordered fillet steak medium...to well done , it should have a line of pink through the middle . As the steak was cut blood ran out with the juices Grabbing a nearby waiter as we thought (he was a floor manager) we explained the problem to be told and I quote it's on the cusp whatever that means . He took the steak to be re- cooked for minutes minutes later with the whole night ruined they brought back an almost cremated steak ,we complained again to the lovely waitress who...

We visited yesterday, March at we promptly ordered due to the fact we had a schedule to stick to it and an important day ahead. We got the calamari, chipotle chicken Mac cheese side to start with. The starters apart from...the Mac cheese were lovely, however the Mac cheese had a layer of oil over the top so not the best. Then we sat and waited…and waited… and waited. By this point the restaurant started to get somewhat busy with others who came in after us receiving their main courses.
