"During our recent visit to Castle Kitchen at Galgorm Resort, we were once again disappointed with the quality of the food. Our complimentary meal turned out to be a letdown from start to finish. My chicken wings starter had dead flies in it, and the roast beef main course was tough and chewy, making it inedible. The dessert, a chocolate orange mousse, was overly sweet and lacked flavor. Despite our dissatisfaction, no alternatives were offered apart from a simple apology from a waiter. This experience was a far cry from what we had hoped for, especially considering our previous stomach issues after dining at Galgorm. We expressed our concerns with management through email, but only received another apology in response. It appears that the Galgorm Resort has declined in quality, and we advise avoiding their restaurants if you wish to avoid a similar disappointment. We certainly will not be returning."

"My mother and I had the most beautiful afternoon at Oranmore and had the most delicious lunch that I can remember. We arrived a little bit early so we sat outside in the gardens under the trees on a beautifully sunny day. The staff were courteous, quick and attentive.. The chicken salad and mango cheesecake were unreal.. So many little details attended to.. The pine nuts and dressing in the salad.. The seasoning of the chicken.. The homemade wheaten bread... The contrast in mango cheesecake between the creaminess and the zingy coulis at the bottom and the little macaroon on the side.. A huge pot of coffee to finish off in a lovely pot.. We enjoyed and appreciated every element immensely. Thank you to everyone involved for providing food, service and surroundings of such a high standard... It can’t have been easy to keep the faith this year... As my mother said ‘Sure you couldn’t get nicer!’ and I agree..!"

"I have been to Galgorm for afternoon tea several times over the years, but my recent visit with my mom left me feeling disappointed. While the service was excellent, the food didn't quite meet our expectations considering the price. The savory options were tasty, but there was only one sandwich. The sweet treats seemed store-bought and we ended up leaving most of them uneaten. The menu also lacked some of the previous items, such as miniature soup or trifle/cheesecake. The conservatory, which had initially impressed me with its beautiful floral arrangement and decor, now appeared a bit tired, including the furniture. Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry. For £42.50 per person, I expected more."

"Went to Cafe Tosca recently for lunch before going to watch the local football team in Ballymena and to be honest it was ok but I think improvements could be made to make it a bit better. First off the cafe is uniquely decorated with...an interior consisting of white walls and lots of pink chairs, so if you like pink this is the place to go. The Cornation Chicken, Pineapple Cheese toastie was very nice but I do feel a bit cheated as the side salad is very minimal considering your paying around £5 for only a sandwich and salad. I also think the cafe could look at what other cafes are doing by adding Tortilla Chips or even a big spoonful of Couscous. Overall it is around average for me but with a few more improvements I would consider it much better."
