The small pub is great, however, as of Spring 2022, they are unable to find a chef so they are not currently serving food. Despite this, it is still a nice spot to grab a drink, with a good outdoor area and a selection of tasty beers and ciders.

Had a really nice meal in here post-lockdown. The burgers Ale were really good! Been in a few times over the last year and have enjoyed every meal : Everything was also Super safe and they were following all the guidance re COVID 19 Will be back soon! Thank you!

We were staying within walking distance but they don't open during the day so we weren't able to go for drinks after our walks and they aren't serving food as apparently they don't have a chef. You can't find any information about this pub as they don't have a website and there fb page isn't regularly updated. Ver carta

This charming pub is a great spot for a drink. It was the only pub near our accommodation. They do not serve food, but they are dog friendly. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, it is conveniently located near a request stop railway station. They open at 2pm and stay open until the pub empties out. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

The pub was nice, the staff were friendly, the food was OK but the selection was very small, the menu consisted of Vegetable Soup, Frozen Scampi, Lasagna, Burger or Sausage, the veg were frozen and the chips were frozen. Deserts offered were Brownie or Ice cream. We were looking forward to some good home cooked food but unfortunately we were very disappointed.

Silecroft is a tiny place with only 1 pub. We ate there twice in 4 days. The food was tasty and all home cooked. The lasagne was a tad odd as it is was “sloppy” I can’t think of another word to describe it It was tasty and very well presented but very wet. The burger I had was excellent, my OH had fish all tasted excellent. Good service, friendly people, reasonable prices. Good value for money. Ver carta

Fixed menu choice and some daily specials, good quality ingredients, well cooked to order and presented. Attentive staff, good country pub decor and atmosphere. Also caters for group bookings in restaurant and function room, which was reassuringly well patronized throughout the week. We used the pub 4 days in our 7 day stay in Silecroft, consistently good value for money on each visit. The landlord was happy for us to park our motorhome overnight, very helpful.

We had a lovely takeaway from here last night, with plenty of vegetarian options available (soup, pizzas, main course burger . I had an ale (wonderful after ages of no cask ales while the meal was prepared. Cumberland sausage was wonderful!Lots of effort put into providing a safe experience and very nice food too! My only quibble was that the only bottled beer to take away were the usual boring lagers and the menu wasn't that accessible if you were phoning in (maybe put a daily photo on your facebook page? . But would go back again if in the area

Both locals and tourists frequent this restaurant, offering standard pub food at affordable prices. The lasagna is a favorite among regulars, who seem to practically live there. The staff is friendly, and the selection of real ales is impressive. There is plenty of parking, but it's also within walking distance for those staying nearby. It's important to check the opening hours, as many Lake District pubs have been affected by Covid and Brexit. Unfortunately, there is a sign indicating that the restaurant is for sale, which would be a loss for the community. I have been coming to this beach for 50 years and will make it a point to visit this restaurant regularly to support it. Ver carta
