Monty's Inn - Carta

We ate at Montys twice during our pre-Christmas break in the New Forest. It’s a beautiful combination of old and new. Great ambience, wonderful food and perfect service. We look forward to going back sometime soon.

Had a really lovely meal here. Friendly enthusiastic staff, great food and nice restaurant area. It seemed to fill up so probably good to book if you go here. Dog friendly. I was disappointed to see they had football on in the lounge area so not a great place for a quiet drink.

We had a family get together staying at the Hotel next door. Montys Inn was a fabulous place for attentive friendly service where you feel the staff go the extra mile. Great ambiance and wonderful food at both lunchtime or evenings there’s nothing we can...fault. We will definitely be back! Ver carta

We had dinner at Monty's during our recent stay at The Montagu Arms. I had the burger and my partner had the fish chips. Both were very good quality. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very cosy. A good choice, especially for hotel residents not wanting the full restaurant option.

I cannot rate Montys highly enough The food is excellent- so much more than ‘pub’ food Delicious fresh ingredients The main positive is the staff who are excellent- they really try to make your visit as good as it can be. we tried the pork ears beginning! was very interesting but very tasty. no fear to try. the waiting staff was very nice and friendly and eating was incredible! we had the soup soup and squid starter, which were both so fresh and tasty and then had the swarm and fish and chips as net. probably one of the least fat and most beautiful fish and chips I've ever tried. We had an excellent lunch with our elderly mother. The food was absolutely superb. Certainly left feeling full! Service was outstanding. We were served by the waitress (Alexia) who was as extremely helpful with our mothers needs. Drinks and meal served silver service standard. We...certainly feel that Montys Inn has improved service and food. We shall certainly visit again Thanks again to both Alexia and Norbert for making our visit a memorable one.

Went to dinner on the of January whilst staying at the Montagu Arms Hotel. The whole experience was amazing from the service ero the food. I have also to comment on the expertise, knowledge and politeness of Norbert who recommended an amazing dessert...wine as the finale to the evening. All restaurant staff were extremely polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be returning the next time I come to The New Forest.

We visited for Sunday lunch and our first time to eat at Monty’s. We’d previously eaten in the hotel restaurant which was very good and over the years have enjoyed a few drinks in the bar. Given that we had a long morning walk and...were dressed casually we felt that we’d fit in more within the bar restaurant. We were real impressed with the short menu and were tempted by every singe starter and main course, even the veggie options. The reason for stars is simple the food was delicious, the ale and wine were great, the staff were all fabulous, and the environment smart yet relaxed. We felt very welcome by the smiling and attentive team. Ver carta
