Excellent food, friendly helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere and good background music. The menu is changed regularly so we will keep going back.

We had an amazing evening at Moonfish Cafe my boyfriend, my sister and myself. We were treated to a complimentary glass of prosecco, and the service was of a very high standard. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back.

As always, the food at Moonfish is the reason to go. The four of us were swapping forkfuls throughout, and no-one was disappointed in their choice. Friendly service, but a slightly noisy and cramped ambience make this a place for friends rather than dates Ver carta

Have heard many people say this restaurant is excellent and was not disappointed. Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Nice selection for each course and the chosen dishes were excellent. Very tasty. Nice wine and good selection of gins. Definitely will be back and recommend this restaurant

First time for us, well worth the drive. Even though a tasting evening was on the 23/2/18 and it must have been hectic in the kitchen, as a diner there was no indications that anything was happening. Our food was superb, the staff attentive, can't wait to come back and try the evening menu, especially the tasting evening. Regards PaulineT

Went for Aberdeen Restaurant Week , and was very disappointed to find there was no choice on menu. We were then advised dishes were a bit on the small side so had to pay for side dish of vegetables to make it a more complete meal. Sadly think they missed the mark on how to showcase their restaurant. Would not return again nor recommend to friends. Ver carta

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. With three waiters for about 15 tables, we received attentive care throughout our meal. They were friendly and incredibly nice! I also enjoyed the laid-back interior. There was just one small issue—the table height didn't quite match the chairs—but I forgot about it within just two minutes.

The restaurant is quite small, which can create a cozy atmosphere unless there's a large group present, in which case the noise level can become overwhelming. Typically, the food is good, but this time it missed the mark. The duck was difficult to cut and nearly impossible to chew. Overall, the experience did not justify the price, considering the food quality and ambiance. On a positive note, the servers were attentive and pleasant, so it wasn't a total loss.

I would have rated the food five stars if it weren't for the beef rib main course. I received two ribs; one was delicious, but the other was mostly soft, chewy fat. It was disappointing because the portions weren't very large, so having half of my main dish be inedible wasn't ideal. The other dishes were fantastic, and the wine was excellent. The service deserves five stars. However, I gave only two stars for the ambiance since the restaurant was quite cold and the seating was uncomfortable. It's definitely not a place for a long, leisurely lunch, although perhaps that’s part of the concept!
