"We visited this restaurant by chance one evening when we went into Thouars from Airvault where we were staying. There wasn 't anywhere open in Airvault to eat. We struck lucky at Le Trait D 'Union. We had one of the set menus. The starter was Chartreuse de Pintade a sort of Guinea fowl terrine mixed with Fois Gras which was delicious. The mains were equally good. The pudding was excellent a chocolate macaroon with ice cream cream, very good. The house rose was one of the nicest we 'd had anywhere. Service professional friendly. It was so good we went a few days later for lunch!"

"these are the commendable comments on the trip that gave us the desire to come here. one can't say that the environment is cophon or that the restaurant's decor with its large canvases in the form of crushing (one on a somewhat violent basis) is appropriate to please everyone, but the essential is obviously not there. the lady who welcomed us and served was very affable and the choice proposed in the menu to be filled. we started with two different cocktails: one, called cherry rose, was friendly, while the amaretto mix of the other was not really ideal. the pieces were simple but very pleasant, especially the small toasts surmounted with trout eggs. My pie of saint jacobs was very fresh, but the pieces of molluscs were a little suffocated by the link around it. My companion has more fun with his kind of hot cabbage. his piece of beef, served blue as he wanted, seemed a little fade. As for me, I would have preferred that the medallions of the very good rub be not accompanied by a sauce and vegetables with very sweet tastes that seasoning did not reach to balance. the gram of the red fruit of dessert, however, totally seduced me: in addition to its suavity, it had the lightness and texture of a blown. the different regional wines with glass that have been recommended have perfectly accompanied each of the dishes and it must be emphasized that they are modestly priced. Overall, a pleasant meal and an address not to be overlooked, even if, as far as we are concerned, we did not see the little je-ne-sais-quoi that makes waouw say when we leave the table."

"we stopped in this restaurant near the church by chance for soups. As much as telling you that this meal was a classic, I never ate such a good meat, I thought I was going to cry like a future with kaari chicken. the fries were succulent and of course the house. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation, the staff being more welcoming"

"a rather nice place in a nice atmosphere to the beautiful notte of disney but in less cheap I took a burger with fish type net o fish and it was delicious and dessert I took a ball of ice to kaa apple it was excellent a little further you find the california surf so made your choice the pilot or california surf"

"Very nice welcome, really very good meals of the highly sought-after dishes that change the ordinary for a modest price. Very friendly staff, very clean room, functional. Bathroom a little... Breakfast very well missing can be bacon and scrambled eggs, but really a very good value price, we will come back, I highly recommend"
