"A summary would be amazing food, lovely atmosphere and perfect service. This is a great place to enjoy proper home cooked food. We had a combination for food from the normal menu and some specials. First the normal menu offered delicious loaded fries, perfectly cooked pancakes with nutella, the Club sandwich was packed with filling and the excellent OM Eggs Benny. Also from the normal menu you must try the Sweet Potato Bhaji's ! From the specials we had the Mac and Cheese with brisket which was wow but i loved my Sausage Grilled Cheese sandwich which was amazing ! Coffee was great and this is just a lovely place to eat !"

"Amazing first visit! We had family visit us from Antwerp, Belgium and they asked me to book a surprise meal for my wife as she didn't know they were here in UK. Easy to book table via Instagram as don't use Facebook anymore. Friendly and welcoming staff on arrival. The food was superb. We all tried each others dishes as wanted to taste everything. I ordered the legendary Railway Lamb! My wife got the Chicken Tikka. Both full of fresh flavours. The chef popped over to say hi which was a nice touch. We'll definitely be back soon as want to try the signature Biriyani!"

"Disappointed. Came with my mother as a treat for her. We were hardly in the door when a staff member told us to go get a table number, then order. And that was understandable, she was just very abrupt. We ordered our food and drink. My cappuccino did not have foam, and was a latte, and left me quite disappointed. My sausage roll was only warm on the crust, and the meat was cold. When I went to get cutlery, there was only 1 knife, and it was used. Our waitress rolled her eyes at us, and didn’t seem like she cared, as she spilled my drink onto our table, then left without a word. Very expensive for very average. Really sad to be leaving a bad review because I hear a lot of good things about this place. And my experience left me not really wanting to come back."

"Unfortunately, the two staff members at the bar were very unhelpful. They seemed to lack basic customer service skills and informed me that their manager was not on duty, so they couldn’t process my refund without permission. After waiting for three hours, I followed up, and they still hadn’t resolved the issue. I was assured that someone would be there the next morning to handle my refund. When I returned the next day, a third staff member named Kevin told me he was also unable to issue a refund and advised me to email the manager instead. Now, a week has passed, and despite emailing twice, I still haven’t received a response. I strongly advise against staying here. The customer service is appalling, and the staff clearly lack the necessary training to assist guests effectively. I paid for bed and breakfast, and neither was delivered. This situation is simply unacceptable, and it’s astounding that management has not bothered to reply to my emails in over a week!"

"Keep getting scam phone calls from this number..... person with a foreign accent tells me he works for o2 and is based london, wants to give me amazing discount.......... yet on my phone screen it says Pink elephant restaurant Huddersfield. I googled it and can see the address and pictures of the staff...... how stupid and immoral can you get? Reported via phone, email to police and phone call on fraud line. It wasn 't Saturday night..... you can see I posted this hours ago at 12:51 (you don 't open until 5pm) and it wasn 't to my land line, it was my mobile. Its obvious that no one was cloning anyone ....... ‍ ....... that was obviously the lie, when I started questioning the scammer where are your o2 offices based? they said London.. ...... when I could clearly see it said Pink elephant Huddersfield on my incoming call screen. Its also pretty damn amazing that your incoming land line is saved on my phone logs along with the business name. but thanks for the reply, I read your other sarky, defensive comments to the other low star reviews, so predicted this. Just want others and yourselves to know that scam phone calls are being made from your landlines."
