"As members of Exbury Gardens, we have had the chance to visit the cafe here quite frequently in recent years. The cafe staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. However, I must mention that the prices have increased significantly. The rustic sausage roll, for example, now costs over £5 and is only about 5cm long. Just last year, they were larger and cheaper. Similarly, the baked potato was small and pricey. The gardens are beautiful, but the restaurant prices are becoming too high. Next time, I think I will bring a packed lunch instead."

We had a delightful lunch at Exbury today. It was great to see that they have expanded their selection of gluten-free options since our last visit. Mrs. S was especially pleased with the addition of gluten-free sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and soup. The coffee was enjoyable and we also tried a delicious sausage roll. The wait in line was not too long, which was a bonus.

This has to be one of the best Sunday roast dinners we have had. Great value for money (15.00) Food was presented in a way that was more like an expensive restaurant and the flavour was lovely. You will need to be very hungry to get any where near finishing it. Roast chicken, Yorkshire pudding, assorted veg, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets……. Yum. Will definitely be returning.

Decided to visit Mr Eddys again as live local. A nice light and airy restaurant with plenty of seating inside. Lovely area to sit outside if the weather is nice. Good variety of food to choose from. Ordered hot drinks and food. Food was lovely and hot, did not have long to wait. Good value for money. Staff were all well presented and friendly. Have heard good reviews of the roast dinner hoping to visit before winter closure.

Love this restaurant, we regularly go to Exbury with our dog and stop for coffee and danish and sometimes a meal, never been disappointed. The food is excellent and coffee is not machine made! Sometimes service can be slow when busy, but it is like that everywhere, people just need some patience. Over the 8 years we have been going to the restaurant we have only been disappointed once which is rare these days, keep up the good work!

The restaurant was extremely disorganized, with staff members serving hot food appearing confused and overwhelmed. The service was extremely slow, and when we finally received our cheeseburgers, they were cold and dry despite being kept on a hot plate and under heat lamps. We brought this issue to the attention of a senior staff member, who assured us they would address it. However, the cold burgers continued to be served to customers, which is a clear violation of food safety regulations regarding minimum food temperatures.

"My Wife and I don't travel so well these days but decided to go a little further afield from our usual Highcliffe and Christchurch haunts we live in Mudeford. We went twice in point of fact. The first visit was the 21st June when My wife and I had a quiet Birthday celebration lunch prior to the Family celebration later in the day. It was excellent. We only had the Mains and despite it being busy and not having booked we were served promptly and cheerfully with a round of drinks. My Wife had Chicken Pie and I had Liver and Bacon. Both were excellent and my Wifes vegetables were freshly done. I don't have vegetables. We liked it so much we went back three days later to celebrate our youngest Daughters birthday and again had lunch before the Family celebration later in the day. The meal was as fabulous as three days prior. My Wife had a Chicken Roast, our Daughter had Beef Roast and I had an amazingly well filled Steak and Merlot Pie of the Week. As before the vegetables were freshly done. Unusually for us we also had puddings (Lemon Meringue, Bailey's Cheescake and Apple Tart with Custard. All were excellent. All washed down with Tea and a Latte the former being served in nicely twee Teapots. Total cost £80 for the three of us on the second visit. Worth every penny. All in all First Class and couldn't fault it. Disabled parking nicely located in the front with ample parking for those more mobile at the side and back. Just a note for History buffs. The main building was built in 1853 by John Harrison(? a Carpenter thus the name Carpenters Arms."
