I had to check that they do vegan afternoons before booking, as the website only allows them to book “signature afternoon tea”, they need to book this and then write vegan in the nutritional needs section. feel vegan is not a “diary requirement”."

Great vegan options. They are adding a range of products and the staff are really knowledgeable. The red pepper and chorizo style sausages are delicious! They offer vegan afternoon tea which is not a pale imitation of the omni one which is refreshing. Oh and the chocolate orange cake is to die for.

We reside in Spain but frequently visit family in Maldon, and one of our favorite pastimes is dining at this restaurant. The building is charming, the food is exceptional, and the staff is delightful. While it's not entirely vegan, preventing me from giving it a full five stars, they do offer a solid selection of vegan cakes and a dedicated vegan menu section with plenty of options. The vegan breakfast is particularly impressive. Though it can be a bit pricey, the wonderful atmosphere makes it well worth it.
