Only sampled the takeaways but always good, great biryanis and jalfrezis. Food always on time and piping hot as well as delicious!

We had a really pleasant meal here, during our stay in Kendal. Great menu and friendly staff. Very busy with locals and would recommend.

The food at this restaurant is unbelievably good. The service is excellent and very on point. I had a liqueur coffee and without a doubt if is the best liqueur coffee I have had for the longest time. Ver carta

The food is very good and the service is pleasant. Very expensive though almost double what we usually pay. I'm gluten free which wasn't an issue but they only had a single bottle of GF beer in stock!

As Midlands natives who are connoisseurs of curry, we were pleased with the proximity of this restaurant to the city center. The ambiance was pleasant, the food was tasty, however the prices were not the most affordable.

The food was really tasty well presented. Our waiter was very attentive respected our space privacy. We would definitely return when next in Kendal. The only thing we would suggest is to have hot plates for the food to extend the good experience. Ver carta

We had a delicious meal with lots of spices, but we found it to be pricier than other restaurants. We were disappointed that, as first-time visitors to an Indian restaurant, we weren't offered any complimentary chocolates or mints when paying the bill.

Outstanding food! This is our preferred choice for takeout! We have been loyal customers for many years now. The food quality is consistently exceptional and the portion sizes are very generous. We often have enough leftovers for the next day. The staff is always polite and accommodating. The only issue we have currently is that the prices have increased significantly since the pandemic, causing us to reconsider before placing an order these days. We appreciate that the staff commute from Bradford every day.

I read a while ago rather disparaging reviews on the Mumbai Restaurant in Kendal. To be fair it put me off giving it a go. I'd like to put this to bed here and now, I have visited this restaurant on two occasions recently, first time with a couple of friends and recently on my own. Both times I, we, have been greeted with charm, smiling faces, and friendliness. The food here was absolutely spot on on both occasions. The only complaint if you can call it that, was the room was cold but in this current situation what can you say!
