"Naasta is a nice break from your typical curry houses. They offer a wide and varied menu that have many of their own creations alongside the more usual korma, masala, bhuna etc. I personally enjoy the paneer kofta makhani, somewhat reminiscent of a korma but the paneer koftas themselves are different to any I’ve had before and are quite tasty. I also enjoy the effort gone to to make veggie and vegan alternatives to their dishes. The vegetables always taste fresh as well. The sides are a little hit and miss for me, though often with more typical vegetable side dishes you just like what you’re used to so I’ll chalk that up to personal preference. The wraps are a strong miss: not packing much flavour and the fries were cold and tasted like cardboard. Not necessarily something you’d think to order from a place like this anyway, but certainly not to the standard of the other food. My main quibble here is the price point. For a large main and a naan, with delivery, you’re looking at £22~. Not astronomical by any means, but when I compare the value to that of other local Indian takeaways I struggle to justify it. It’s nice as a treat for something a little different, but not somewhere I’d be a regular."

Order from here regularly. The paneer biryani is a staple for me and have probably worked through all the small dishes over time. Massala fries, hot but divine!

I decided to give them another chance after their reopening, but unfortunately, they still have the same issue - they over-salt everything. I won't be returning.

Food was far too spicy. Eaten plenty of Indian food in my 50+ years and can handle a hot curry, but most of the food was unpalatably hot. Shame as won’t be ordering again.

We absolutely adore Nasta's on London Road in Burgess Hill. The food is consistently amazing with a wide variety of options. It always feels authentic and they also have a fantastic vegan menu. Ver carta

The best takeaway in a long time. Fabulous food and prompt preparation after on line ordering. Reasonably priced. Can’t wait to order again when I am next visiting my daughter! Highly recommended.

This restaurant was terrible. The food was expensive and the portions were very small. They market it as Indian tapas just so they can charge full plate prices for tiny portions. It feels like a scam.

I had takeaway from here while housesitting in the area am gutted it’s not my local as it was so nice!! I ordered butter chicken, achari paneer tikka, chana masala and peshwari naan. It was plentiful and full of flavour and I would highly recommend.

A nice alternative from other indian takeaways and glad we have finally tried it. Lots of Veggie options, I'm not a vegetarian but love paneer dishes and they have plenty! The paneer biriyani was delicious and the dhal that accompanied it was a meal in itself. Partner had a chicken curry and rice and again very generous portion. Ordered too much as so much wanted to try! The spicy fries (very nice kick and VERY generous portion) also the paneer sticks (chutney with these was a bit different, closer to a lime pickle) and the onion pakoras. Still plenty of the menu to explore so will be back soon. Must comment on the service I placed an order that looked like it didn't go through, so my partne...

"We go to Gravetye 3 or 4 times a year if we can and have been going for many many years over the tenures of several owners. It 's always a complete joy, and the current owner has done a fabulous job of getting the right people in, both inside and out. Tom Coward, the Head Gardener (ex. Dixter) has a vision and a long term plan that make continual visits over an extended period a joy every time we visit we are surprised by the continual changes we learn so much and the garden staff are super helpful and willing to discuss what they 're up to and why. The amazing oval massive kitchen garden that supplies the hotel is a source of wonderment and not to be missed. A visual and culinary feast. We 've never stayed there as we live reasonably close, but have eaten in both the old and new dining rooms many times. The new dining room sits harmoniously between the wings of the manor and although a very modern glass and steel construction, the inclusion of a fabulous antique (and uneven) parquet floor (ex. some french chateau) softens the feel and acoustics, making the room almost intimate. The floor to ceiling windows bring you right into the garden, even in the foulest of weather it 's a triumph of design. Then there 's the food. Apart from the presentation, which is exquisite, the flavours and textures always bring a broad grin, however grumpy I am! This is absolutely first rate British cuisine; the kitchen under Head Chef George Blogg is to be commended, as are the garden staff producing the freshest of produce. I occasionally try to photograph the plates, but invariably find I 've forgotten that rather crass move and have just launched in! Must also mention the front of house staff. Perfectly presented and mannered, they know exactly the boundary between staff and guest and make you feel completely comfortable and relaxed there is nothing stuffy or obsequious about Gravetye everything is pitched just spot on and nothing is too much trouble. We were there today for a birthday treat, but will be back again soon for a post family wedding get together. Cannot recommend too highly just an excellent few hours, whatever the weather. Walkability: Lots of paths. The lower areas are easy for those with limited mobility, however it might be tricky to get up to the kitchen garden if you 're not great on your feet. Food drinks: See my review."
