Lovely friendly staff, delicious coffee and very yummy cakes with a beautiful view what more could you ask for.

Had the best hot smoked salmon chowder and cheese scone ! Fabulous view too. A must for anyone in the area looking for somewhere to eat

Spent a few days in Torridon and stopped in on way to airport. Kitchen had closed, but was offered a hot soup option to take away. Hot smoked salmon soup was delicious.

So pleased we called in for lunch. The chowder and soup options were not disappointing and exceeded our expectations. Hot drinks a plenty and so much more. Such a stunning location and fabulous food and hospitality. Thank you @Nanny's.

What a beautiful setting to have a lovely cafe. The food is so delicious and everything freshly made.Had lunch here a few days while staying in the area. Both times I was so happy with the quality of the food and flavours. Very friendly people and love the community feel. Dog friendly. Box food for takeaway which was every bit as nice. Thank you it was delicious .

We visited on our cycle tour of the NC500 and it was a welcome respite from the rain. The pea and mint soup with delicious and warmed us up beautifully. Coffee was delicious and so was the brownie and tiffin. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the service rapid even though it was very busy. They didn’t seem to mind two soggy cyclists procrastinating in the corner! Thank you team Nanny’s!

We stopped in for afternoon tea, and I ended up ordering two very tempting desserts instead. An Affogato and a piece of Victoria sponge. (I did share). Both were scrumptious! We didn't have to wait long to receive our food, and we chose to eat at an outside table as it was a beautiful day. The staff was quite attentive, and we were thanked for stopping in. Definitely a place to stop if you are visiting Shieldaig.

What a find!! Fell upon this place and so happy too! Excellent quality, tasty homemade food, including soups, sandwiches and light meals. For the coffee lover, a great range. Setting was fabulous, busy when I visited, so sadly all outside tables full. Friendly, happy staff and so relaxed. Some items sold out, but still plenty of choice and shows that home made! Free parking along the front, stunning views out to sea and the island. Good toilet facilities, all working and clean. Reasonable prices. Just a lovely place with great food and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

What can be said... Excellent welcome, warm and friendly, Great simple menu... Good variety but short and uncluttered. The venue is spotless and really relaxing... And... Then the food... The Salmon Chowder is world class... I have never had better!!! The Sandwiches were beautifully constructed... plenty of filling, but in the right proportions to deliver a balanced flavour... and the Nanny 's dill sauce is in a class of its own. The team are really friendly and very efficient... they deserve success for many a year!!! P.s. remember to add the tip when paying by card... especially if you are paying before being served your order.... you 'll only feel guilty if you don 't.
