"Having initially planned lunch at Muddy Beach, we didn 't bother staying due to a reduced size menu at eye watering prices for an impromptu stop. This led us to grabbing something quick to take back to the office instead, Nemos certainly did not disappoint. Large fish chips with a side for under £8. The fish was a large skinless, well cooked fillet on top of a generous portion of chips with the side. This is far better than the 'Harbour Lights ' where we usually go to in Falmouth and in future I shall drive to Nemos in Penryn to buy our fish suppers instead. The shop is a clean hygienic environment with covid measures in place. The staff are lovely, especially the girl serving and they have a great menu with offers. Well done Nemos, I don 't give 5 out of 5 easily you have earnt it a new customer!"

Only “place” you’ll catch me going for fish and chips. Fish and chips are always lovely here. Everything is cooked freshly for you. Great portions. And friendly staff too.

Fish was very very nice, chips however were very very poor dry overcooked and not fresh I can only assume they were the end of that particular batch which was disappointing.

This chip shop was recently taken over by new owners. The new owner is a really cool guy not the misery that was there before. Really great fish the large cod is sumptuous, really good value. Chips could be a little nicer cooked.

Recently ordered plaice and chips, waited 40 minutes, ate some of the fish with one part tasting very “fishy” so I decided not to eat the rest. The next morning I was violently ill with vomiting for 36 hours. Sad as I will now need some convincing to come back again and I’m seriously questioning their hygiene standards.

Pitstop whilst working away. This was not a good takeaway. I had to wait a while whilst deliveroo drivers turned up and collected orders. Staff were not wearing face masks and I saw a member of staff touch their mouth. The chips were OK. They were a little greasy and I had two undercooked hard chips in the one portion ordered. The fish was soggy. The batter had cooked on one side but half of the batter was uncooked and squidgy. I could not eat it. Even worse the fish was covered in the wet batter meaning i had to waste most of the fish. I will not return.
