good wine, good food. situated in the middle of the old town on a quiet location. price rather higher segment but absolutely justified

Really good attentive service without being annoying. The food was amazing. I had the 3 Gang Überaschungs Menu and would highly recommend it!

Modern cooking, excellent service, with perfect portions. Light fare possible if you still have a days to walking around to do. Excellent dessert. One English speaking staff who did her best to translate the menu, which was perfect with a combination of Google translate! Definitely worth a visit after a morning at the Abbey.

So, finally a good restaurant in St.Gallen that is a bit different and creative and also offer some good vegetarian dishes.We who do not eat meat also like to eat well. I loved the food, the concept where you can try different dishes, for us 3 where enough.They recommend 4 for the very hungry. It is a little bit expensive but its worth it.Service is also great.

Stumbled along this lovely wine bar. Looked very cosy. Was quiet when we arrived as was only just after 17:00, but sure got busy with a few more people after work. The service was superb and the wine recommendation was right on par. Enjoyed a very tasty and light antipasti plate. Wine was continually refilled and always with great conversation and a smile. Didn't stay for dinner but would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing glass of wine. Ver carta

Die Genussmanufaktur Neubad anders als die Anderen ! Die Karte präsentiert tolle Gerichte welche das Schema Vorspeise, Hauptspeise, Dessert sprengen. Jeder stellt sich aus den jeweils gleich grossen, immer frisch zubereiteten Speisen das Menue zusammen welches ihn gluschtet . Das Konzept ist gelebte Variation; so kanns auch mal das Kalbsbäggli zum Dessert sein... Das ganze im heimeligen Ambiente kombiniert mit guter Beratung auch zur Getränkebegleitung und freundlicher, aufmerksamer Bedienung. Uns gefällts, danke Natalie, Sandro und Team !

the kitchen as well as the service leave more than to wish. unfriendly lady in the service and the kitchen rightly has no more contempt from good crucifixes. used to be in a new bath, but last week was the last time we did this. rösti burned and the meat was very sweet, despite practically no guests, long waiting times. a dame in the service which was very arrogant (was a German,) had no warning from the wine card (which is completely overhauled and overpriced) and also seemed absolutely not competent. a pity of a new bath, not everything was better before, but in this sense it meets completely.

Restaurant Neubad is a very well known address among locals, therefore table booking strongly recommended. It has an interesting concept, as there is no split between starters and main courses. Indeed, all dishes have the same size, which enables multiple tasty combinations. The friendly and efficient team recommends to try 3 dishes, which leaves some room for a dessert. As first dish I chose the grilled octopus delicious and perfectly prepared. The second dish sounded much more unusual: veal tongue carpaccio! Do not be put off by the name, it actually tastes very good. As third dish I enjoyed the grilled zander, the fish was perfectly cooked. As dessert I chose the decadent vanilla mousse,... Ver carta
