Wir als Exil-Berliner haben hohe Kaffee-Standards ; , die hier absolut gut getroffen werden. Aktuell im Lockdown kann man hier Kaffee, Tee usw. nur zum Mitnehmen bekommen. Ansonsten wäre dieses kleine Café in der Nähe vom Markt auch sehr einladend zum gemütlichen Niederlassen und Kaffee geniessen. Seit Kurzem werden hier Kaffeebohnen auch selber geröstet. Man sei sich noch am Ausprobieren, sobald man das optimale Rezept gefunden habe, soll man dann auch die hauseigenen Röstungen für zu Hause kaufen können. Wir sind gespannt und freuen uns schon darauf. Die aktuelle Röstung wird bereits für den Flat White verwendet und schmeckt hier schon richtig gut."

I thought ( as foreigner) that was coming different flavored stiles of bread, or nice garnished but it wasn't. So it's nice but definitely it's massive for one portion and one person and it can result nauseous after a while as there isn't variety. I will go back to Fondue Beizli but i will order others dishes. My suggestion to owner to prepare also half portion for solo travelers and improve the garnishing/ bread stiles"

"while we decided to visit St. Gallen with my brother, dinner in the city instead of the hotel we had booked closer to the Constance Lake. together with my niece, on the recommendation we chose the schaefli, we had booked a table...for 3 much necessary, it turned out later when the restaurant, inside and outside full and were immediately shown on our table at the arrival. the food selection was considerable, and we all had our own selection of things delivered in a good tempo. presentation was top notch, eating tasted too hungry to make pictures, but overall an excellent choice of location and in any case a place I should revisit the opportunity arise."

Aber leider war beim Pflaumenkuchen gerade mal (maximal) eine Pflaume auf dem ganzen Stück so verteilt, dass man nur noch von pfaumenparfumiertem trockenen Streuselkuchen sprechen kann. Der Kuchen meiner Partnerin war etwas besser, aber auch nicht wirklich gut. Einzig der Kaffee hatte ein spezielles, exquisites Aroma und auch der Service war nett, deshalb noch zwei Punkte. "We were amazed when the two of us entered the restaurant on New Year's Eve. It was still early and the restaurant was pretty empty. To our surprise, we were not served in a spacious restaurant but in a hot, loud party cellar. With Apache scooters on our ears, we were served our food. The food was good quality and tasty but the service was inattentive and deceitful. We ordered 2 small salads and got 2 large ones. My companion also ordered a small menu and got the large one again. There was also a trick with the drinks; instead of the 0.5 liter for 5.90, the 0.33 cola was served for 5 francs. So we listened to Apache loudly, stewed in the cellar and were finally surprised by the bill. At least the view in the basement was nice between windowless walls, bright colors, and tables not set up. At most, the Italian flair reminded me of a shabby night of partying in Rimini."

"The best kebab in Switzerland. It's always a packed place very popular with the locals. You can have a kebab for breakfast even! They make a delicious juicy kebab and also a good selection of pizzas. If on a night out in saint Gallen most people end up here at some stage in the night for some sustenance. "Located in the beautiful city center of St. Gallen, this Italian restaurant is highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable, although some of the music took some getting used to (not Italian). The ambience could have been better. The bread basket beforehand was nice, but it was missing some oil. The bread/rolls seemed a bit dry. But they tasted good. The lasagne dish was a great portion and also very tasty. It was nice that Parmesan was also served. The asparagus was also very tasty, only the potatoes were missing, which we could have ordered additionally. But we only noticed this when the plate came and the potatoes weren't on it. All in all, a delicious restaurant with good value for money."
