"On the recommendation of a good friend, the four of us went there for dinner on a Friday evening. The restaurant has a very homely atmosphere and we immediately felt at home. The order was taken very quickly and we got our drinks quickly. For starters, our friends had Calmaris rings and Nüssli salad. We tried the Calmaris and although my girlfriend and I are not usually Calmaris lovers, we both had to admit that the Calmaris were phenomenally good. For the main course there were 2 different pasta dishes and one Parma and one Funghi pizza. We didn't try the pasta dishes but they looked very tasty, which was also confirmed by our friends. Our pizzas were excellent, the dough tasted excellent and the Parma ham was top notch. My friend's Funghi pizza was also very tasty. When folded in the hand, the pizza stayed straight, which indicates good dough. We had the restaurant's house wine, which is specially made by a winemaker friend of the owner's family. This was exceptionally good and can only be warmly recommended. Rarely have I had such good wine with pizza as I did there. The tiramisu and the tiramisu ice cream were particularly delicious, you can really feel the love that went into the ice cream, as I have never had such good ice cream before. All in all, I would definitely recommend the restaurant, as the prices are absolutely fair and the family owners make every effort."

Found by chance, this Italian restaurant has a fairly large menu. I made a basic choice with Carbonara penne. Perfect cooking and served on a hot plate and boiling pasta, just perfect.

By chance we had lunch at the trattoria again. Had 3 menus to choose from. But ordered a small mixed salad and a pizza. It went quickly, hardly any waiting time. Pizza was okay and had plenty of toppings. There was enough, but it didn't exactly blow my socks off (a matter of taste). My favorite pizzeria (wood-fired oven) is still Fontana Goldach!
