We only stopped for food. The bar area was cold, too quiet with no music. Lacking atmosphere. The service was ridiculously slow. Food was ok when it arrived. With some thought this could be a really nice place. Service: 3 Ver carta

Staff were great. Even took me down to see the plunge pool and the spring under the hotel. I really enjoyed the continental breakfast. Swimming pool was too cold for me. Some of the chairs in reception are stained and need cleaning or removing. I had to ask for the desk chair in our room to be replaced as it was very badly stained. Staff very pleasant, continental breakfast had a good selection of items to choose from. Parts of the hotel are a little tired and needs a lick of paint but overall we enjoyed our stay Rooms: 4 Ver carta

Only visited the pool. Lovely experience. Water is very clean (and cold, obviously) and it's so nice to swim in water that doesn't have chlorine. Life guards are a good laugh and very friendly and helpful, and easy going. Changing spaces and toilets were clean, and generally the place just had a nice vibe to it. Plenty of parking, not too busy. We enjoyed it very much and will be back. Tenner is not cheap for a regular swim but it makes it a treat to visit. No faff.

I would like to say the rooms are lovely and clean. Cold but there is a stand alone heater which did warm the room up. The bed was so comfortable. The staff are run off their feet but great. And the spa is also nice. That unfortunately is where it ends. The evening meal; we were served with bread it was like concrete and we could not even cut it with knife. The main course was ok but £60.00 not worth it. Breakfast £15.00 pounds each. This was a massive disapointment. Cannot even bring fresh tea or coffee to the table. Not worth the money we decided to not have it the next day. This is a hotel that could be amazing and I realize that it needs a lot of investment but at the moment I could not...

Booked an afternoon spa which included a cream tea and treatment. Sat for 15 minutes in a cold resturant with our hot drinks and eventually had to ask if we would get any scones/cakes etc which prompted a staff member to serve us scones with jam and cream. Fortunately we got offered a drinks top up as ours had gone cold by then. The jacuzzi pool was only two thirds full of water and certainly not very warm, the steam room ok but the sauna didn't get very hot as the door wouldn't close properly. The covers on the relaxing chairs were stained. The treatment was lovely I opted for a 30 minite salt and oil scrub, this was the best thing about the whole experience.
