Staff and place are fine the quality of the Sunday lunch is questionable at best. I'd liken it to a school dinner.

We had a lovely lunch yesterday. The food was really good, I had steak and ale pie and my 2 friends both had the salmon. I didn't eat another thing rest of the day. Will def be going back.

First time we’ve been here. Very impressed. Pleasant and friendly staff, very child and dog friendly. Good size play area outside for children. Home cooked British pub food. Good size portions. Reasonable priced for a country pub. Will definitely go again.

We got seated straight away and came to take our drinks order. When our drinks arrived we expected her to take our food order but we waited and waited in the end I went to the bar area and asked is it table service or we have to order at the bar. She said she would come to our table. Once we ordered our meal everything was perfect the meal was lovely and the service improved. Ver carta
