Beautiful food, Beautiful place and such lovely people. Very dog friendly, they even did a side of sausages and ice cream for the dog. Visited on a Sunday lunch time without a booking but they were able to accommodate us (16 people 1 dog). Service and food were good. I ate a v generous portion of scampi and chips! Parking: There is an off putting sign from the main road saying “ Mill only” or similar. But this IS the turn for the pub and carpark which is quite large. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4

Excellent pub. Friendly staff,good local real ale. Took advantage of the over 60s 2 courses for £15 on weekdays. They were monster portions and really good. We walked there so not 100% sure of my parking assessment. Well worth a visit. Wheelchair accessibility: Not easy but worth it. Stopped off here after a walk for some dinner. Absolutely gorgeous historic pub with local relics scattered across the old stone walls so there's something interesting no matter where you look. The lamb shank and steak are melt in your mouth good. The service is fast and friendly. Picnic tables alongside the river for those looking to sit outside. The perfect countryside pub stop for hungry hikers.
