New Hall - Carta

We have a little soft spot for New Hall, as it was our own wedding venue. We fell in love with the moated house and stunning architecture. We always recommend it to our couples and love working here. Can't wait to be back!

Wow. What a spectacular old building. Full of character inside and out. Didn't use a bedroom as it was a day visit. But the rooms I explored were full of history. A place I've put in the memory banks for a future few days stay.

I went there for cream tea, but I believe the establishment could improve its service and attention to detail. Overall, I would rate it as follows: Rooms: 3, Service: 3, Location: 4. Highlights of the hotel include a fantastic view and a quiet atmosphere. Ver carta

We had a fantastic two-night stay. The rooms and grounds are stunning. The staff throughout the hotel and spa are incredibly friendly and always go the extra mile. While the spa isn't the largest, the treatments we experienced were excellent and very relaxing.

What a treat, and not an expensive one either. The venue is stunning, staff fantastic, food delicious, amenities great. Very good value for money and we will make a point of going to Sutton Coldfield just to stay there again. Thanks to everyone that works there

I felt special during our overnight visit with dinner on my birthday. A truly beautiful historic hotel. So lovely, including the nicest staff and fab food. I forgot my deodorant, and someone went and found me a can. That was so kind. It truly is a splendid hotel. Ver carta

Went for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday with elderly mother in wheelchair on the snowiest day in ages. Was super impressed at how clear the access to the hotel was. Felt completely safe getting in there as the entire long drive was clear as were all the approach paths to the entrance doors. The staff were exceptionally helpful helping us in and as ever the afternoon tea was excellent with a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Brought home enough for another whole afternoon tea!

I brought my wife here for an afternoon tea and organised a tour of the building, and the food was amazing, service was in my mind second to none. It was a pleasure to speak with staff whom had a genuinely interest and fascination with the building and the knowledge came across during our tour. My wife is directly linked to the hotel before it was a hotel. The grounds are spectacular, and really are something to be seen. My wife is one of the granddaughters of Sir Alfred Owen, and it was a real pleasure to share her family life of days gone by knowledgeable staff

We would like to thank the management and staff at New Hall Hotel Spa for the professional and friendly service provided on our wedding day on 28 February 2023. We found that high standards were maintained throughout from booking the wedding event to the wedding day itself. Our sincere thanks must go to Brooke who worked with us to plan the day, Isobel who made sure we were at the right place at the right time on the actual day, and ensured our wedding music and wedding meal went according to plan. Also a big thank you to Natalie who made sure that both us and our guests were catered for until late, and we all felt it was a perfect day. We felt very special celebrating our marriage at New Ha...
