New Haven - Carta

I ordered a vegan sausage roll but received a pork sausage roll instead. I did not receive an apology from the staff, and I am very disappointed with the poor customer service. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I've been here a few times now. I recommend the chicken gougons and chips and the vegetable soup with wheaten bread. Huge portion sizes! The actual seating is all very cozy and cute. I Love that there's a children's area, a mini shop to buy local products and an ice cream parlour all in the same building. Lovely outside seating for whenever there's nicer weather as well

I am very disappointed to have experienced two price increases on the last three occasions I have visited this restaurant in the past three months. The price of a sausage roll without salad has increased from £2.50 to £3.50 to £4.50 over my recent visits, which seems excessive. If this continues to be the trend, I may have to avoid dining here. My husband and I visited this restaurant on a bustling Saturday afternoon. The place was packed, with plenty of seating available. Once you make your selection from the menu, you go up to the counter to place your order and pay. The food was delicious - I ordered the big bowl of love with cheese steak and pepper sauce, which was amazing. I can't wait to come back and try something new on my next visit. I will definitely be returning.

Dishonest Business. We were supposed to get a 50% discount as per government scheme however I had to pay what looked like a full amount. When I asked at the till, they told me the discount had been applied and I thought they had put the prices up. I still asked for a receipt and they gave me a bank card receipt. When I was trying to make my point across on another Social Media channel, I was challenged by the business and got very unpleasant attitude making me look bad. I will not recommend this place to anyone and will never go back again.

First time back after COVID and have to say everything was as impeccable as ever prompt friendly greeting , lovely environment and a great menu choice . Ordered food in the usual manner and was treated with respect and kindness . Food came very promptly and was as usual a very high standard of taste and quality . Due to the portions size of the Quesadilla and soup we requested if we could take the soup away with us for use later and this wasn’t a problem at all given a perfect tub and bag for our bread we left very pleased indeed and can assure it won’t be long until we return without doubt the best eatery in Lurgan hands down well down folks Ver carta

I visit here every few months for brunch with family, I love the gluten free options, staff are always friendly and the food is tasty and filling, the coffee is nice and strong too. The fresh cakes look amazing and I'm told the tray bakes are brilliant!! (I'm GF so sadly can't indulge) We recently used New Haven for a business event (at my recommendation) and being able to order ahead, pay over the phone and collect the morning of the event saved a lot of stress. The sandwiches and tray bake selection we got was very impressive, all the feed back from the attendees was positive, I'd highly recommend a visit there next time you're in the area x

I often go to this cafe with my family. We went last month for a meal but the staff weren't wearing masks which seemed really unsafe in the middle of a pandemic. The food is usually good, but can be a bit of a hit or miss poached eggs are sometimes great but other times they can be more like hard=boiled eggs. We also dislike the system of paying at the til instead of the waiters taking your orders. The waitress who is usually leading you to the table hardly ever smiles or greets you in a friendly manner which is a downer. Overall, it has great potential and is the only nice looking cafe in Lurgan, the only one that looks like a proper lovely place to go, but they need to work on their attent...

Driven past a few times but never been in. Recently, we stopped off after a walk in the park as it had a few tables outdoors and we had my parents dog with us. I went in to order as instructed by the waitress. Beautiful decor inside, really cute and welcoming. I 'd like to get a better look next time. There seemed to be a wee 'library ' and jewellry displayed in cases along with an ice cream parlour and old fashioned sweet shop! A right hidden treasure, I had no idea. Food was great, we all enjoyed what we chose. As another reviewer mentioned though, there is a need to remember the smaller details....2 drinks were missed from our order; I had to ask for milk for my tea and the waitress could... Ver carta
