This unpretentious almost-right-on-the-beach restaurant certainly aims to please with its generous portions of dishes designed to appeal to the “Common Man”. After a four-hour flight I elected to go for the simplicity of a filling meal in the immediate vicinity of my hotel. I chose their Horizon burger with papas fritas, accompanied by a nice 14.5% alcohol vino tinto, and followed by a strawberry and cream ice cream sundae and a cappuccino. All for just 38 euros. My restaurant experience interests range from Michelin Star restaurants to family-owned Mom and Pop restaurants to classic bodegas and bistros. This restaurant rates due to the honesty of the cuisine (menu, preparation and presentation) and the service with a smile. I travel the world alone, and my servers cannot rely upon me being entertained by an entourage. I received good attention and was made to feel special. The food was well-prepared and was served without much waiting time. Almost all of the wines are sold by the bottle but the quality and reasonable wine prices will encourage alone-dinners to stay until the last drop is imbibed. The three-tiered burger with tomato, lettuce and fried egg was tasty albeit a bit reminiscent of frozen hamburger patties. I understand, however, that their steaks are prime Irish beef. At any rate, do give this place a try when you just need to relax, eat well and inexpensively, and not have to worry about what you are wearing or who you are seen with."

Been here on my last 3 visits to Benalmádena and they have the best mussels in town. Huge and really good value for money

Went for steak and although they had sold out of fillet (always a good sign) the sirloin was delicious. Came with fries and salad and reasonably priced. Ribs were delicious too.

Fantástico lugar para comer, pedimos la parrillada mixta para dos personas y nos regalaron una botella de vino. El vino estaba muy bueno, lo recomiendo tanto para ir solo como en familia. Muy agradable.

The food was excellent and the service was even better! Treated like a lifetime customer even though it was our first time! Can not recommend highly enough! Best place we have been to eat so far on our family holiday in Benalmádena!

El anfitrión fue muy amable y el servicio muy bueno. Sabíamos que habíamos tomado la decisión correcta, ya que muchos clientes habituales volvían allí. Los filetes estaban cocinados a la perfección y el vino complementaba perfectamente el plato. Volveremos.

The food was unreal, I had the ribs and they were so succulent and full of flavour! Hats off to the chef!! The staff inside were so welcoming and very nice they made our time very pleasant! The food in there is so so so good I would highly recommend and it’s such a lovely atmosphere too!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening great and amazing food!!! Made our family holiday perfect

Desde nuestro viaje anterior en 2019, había querido visitar este restaurante. Finalmente logré convencer a nuestro grupo para que fuéramos. El servicio fue mediocre y la comida decepcionó a algunos de nosotros. En defensa del chef, debo decir que el steak estaba excelente. Debo también elogiar al portero, quien me trató como a un viejo amigo durante ambos viajes. Sin su sentido del humor y su trato amigable, nunca hubiera probado este restaurante.

Olivier was the perfect maitre’d. Our food was excellent. We took advantage of the mixed grill and wine offer and our friends had swordfish and a chicken paella. Unusual to have a paella for one but our friend took advantage of it and said it was delicious as was the mixed grill, the steak was cooked to perfection and the swordfish was well cooked with mashed potatoes and veg, all very tasty indeed Service was great and will definitely return on our next visit to Benalmadena.
