What can you say about this restaurant that hasn’t been said in previous reviews. It’s unique, relaxed, and a complete delight. Just go there and enjoy it you will not be disappointed.

What a fab lunch I had yesterday. The food was excellent and Carla was fab at describing what each coarse was. Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was perfect for a beautiful sunny day. Would love to return another day and will definitely be recommending to others

My husband really wanted to go to this restaurant for their seafood and it didn't disappoint! The decor inside is lovely and calming, I loved the colour on the walls. The atmosphere is very relaxed and as the restaurant is so small, the table is yours for the evening and we never felt rushed at all.

What a fabulous restaurant- small with beautiful decor loved all the clocks! be sure to book.Each course is incredible, I'd love to return to try more. Outstanding dishes were mackerel and crab, caught by the owner and host! The cheese board was delicious. Great gin cocktail to start and delicious white wine with the meal. Like nowhere you'll ever visit which makes it all the more special.

What a fantastic little restaurant. Definitely worth a visit but make sure you book in advance. We were lucky and got the last table.Restaurant is small but nicely presented. The atmosphere is intimate holding about 18 covers. Food was of an exceptionally high standard, fresh as can be beautifully presented. Lobster was sensational!The hosts were charming, entertaining and happy to answer any questions.Price was very reasonable considering the quality, between £40 £70 a head. Visited Nineth Wave on our last evening on the Isle of Mull. This was reason for our visit on the island, and what an experience it was. The food was well thought through, as the flavours were beautiful, very fresh,locally sourced, well presented. The atmosphere was a very relaxed one, with not too many covers, which added to our special evening . A very warm thankyou to the waiting staff, who were just gorgeous. We both wish you well on your new adventures, and will continue to follow you with joy, weather it is with food, or listening to you on the radio.. Much love.

Change of approach from Carla. Now only doing lunches with a set four course menu there are samples on the website. but prepare to be surprised. And what a lunch! brilliant local produce, cuisine influences from around the world. Fantastic cookery, we’d never heard of several of the ingredients “grains of paradise” with meadowsweet and chocolate. A truly memorable meal. Lunch at Ninth Wave is relaxed and unhurried with good service and plenty of opportunity to chat to the chef. Come ready for an event rather than just lunch, allow yourself 3 4 hrs especially if you choose to add the cheeseboard.

A wonderful experience, made of so many parts brought together to perfection. The food was obviously delicious, so fresh, as Johnny, the server who had also caught the fish and seafood on his boat, said oh this cod was still swimming in the ocean at noon! the colours and the presentation, the overall atmosphere, the kindness and pleasantness of the whole thing. You don 't want to miss it. A memorable night indeed. We were lucky to stay in the Captain 's Cabin just next door which was also wonderful. I hear that the establishment is changing and I am looking forward to eat here anytime in the future, under any arrangement. Ver carta
