No 5 Inn - Carta

Second time we’ve been as it is just short of 400 miles from home! However not disappointed. My starter was mussels and I had 40 all beautifully cooked. A hidden gem. We will be back!!!!

Fantastic restaurant and food was delicious, service was excellent. Took a party of eleven to dinner here on Saturday evening mostly Americans and boy did they enjoy it 10/10 Well done No 5 .

Yet again, another fantastic meal here. Anyone who hasn't been must try! Starter of mussels in a garlic sauce spot on! Main of fish chips fab! Dessert of homemade pavlova fantastic! Compliments to the chef very attentive waiting staff. Ver carta

Absolutely loved this place. Very warm and welcoming, family friendly. The food is totally amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely customer service. Would recommend to anyone with confidence. Loved it and sorry we don't live locally

We went to No.5 Inn for a Christmas menu dinner with a group of 10. The food was fantastic and the portions were generous. The staff were attentive and friendly, taking great care of us. Our table was beautifully decorated with Santa hats. Thank you to everyone for providing a memorable experience that was enjoyed by all.

I made a reservation for Sunday lunch at this restaurant and started with a delicious Leek Potato soup, served with a warm homemade bread roll with butter. For the main course, they only offered roast beef but there was plenty of it and it was tender. Our server, Sarah, took great care of us at our table and made us feel welcome. Well first time visiting this place as we have recently moved to the area and was quite excited to find somewhere nearby to eat. Unfortunately just had a dreadful experience where we ordered chicken wings and as we chewed into them they were frozen this is totally unacceptable under any circumstances. We continued to the mains but we felt that we were very wary of what we were eating so in all very disappointing. The staff were lovely they offered an apology the manager however did not even mention it as she took the bill. Will not be back.

I recently had an amazing meal at No 5 in Alva with my partner, daughter, and grandson who has allergies. The friendly host Alison and staff made our visit enjoyable. The food was delicious and hot. My daughter and I had the Sunday roast which was the best roast beef I've had in years. My partner had Cajun chicken and my grandson had macaroni cheese after checking with the chef about the ingredients. Usually, dining out with my grandson can be stressful but this time it was stress-free. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent and I would highly recommend No 5. I can't wait for our next visit! 5 stars.

Contacted Alison ahead of time requesting a vegan meal, and gave an idea of what I was wanting, also explained we needed wheelchair access and a quiet table. Alison was very responsive and helpful with our email request. We were greeted and looked after by Katy who is a friendly and helpful front of house staff member. My partner enjoyed his steak pie and sticky toffee pudding. Thank you to the chef for making delicious food. My vegan meal was awesome, The music was very chilled and the atmosphere so relaxing we didn't want to leave. We moving to the area and thrilled to know this is going to be one of our local watering holes. Thank you to all the staff. Ver carta
