The food and drinks at this restaurant are incredible, especially the milkshakes! The staff is lovely and the service is very quick. I highly recommend this place. My favorite dish is the malteaser cake.

Held off on our trip to stop in to powmill milk barn . Owner said staff were moaning so they closed early at 1630 amd hoped we werent disapointed ..... we were . Wouldnt risk it again just in case staff couldnt be bothered Ver carta

The Milk Bar may be overly accommodating to dogs, allowing them inside rather than just at the outdoor tables. Our recent visits were overshadowed by noisy barking, which detracted from our enjoyment. Despite this drawback, the cafe offers a lovely atmosphere, a delicious array of cakes, and convenient parking.

Called in on a Saturday afternoon with our dog and all were made most welcome Plenty of grass for dog exercise and then inside for freshly prepared rolls and drinks. The young staff were freindly and helpful in identify terms on the menu and checking we were content. All was excellent and worth a diversion to if travelling north on the A9

I am very disappointed. I used to come to this restaurant with my family and friends for the "all day breakfast" with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, pancakes, and meringues. However, now they only offer a lunch menu after 11:30. In the past, a bacon roll was only £3, but now the only option I was given was a toasted sandwich that cost almost £9. My family and I will not be returning. Ver carta

This was just a flying visit to pick up a goodie ie, a couple of cakes to take away. My husband loves the giant cream Meringues from here. And I do mean giant. I had a large plain scone with strawberry jam and cream. If you’ve never visited the Milk Bar you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s dog friendly, sells cakes and doggy ice cream. Fresh bowls of water at the door for them too. Child friendly, can provide a high hair and children’s menu. Ample parking. Spotlessly clean in cafe area and toilets. Go on, treat yourself.

Very disappointed. Lorne sausage was overcooked and tough,bacon cold and tough, potato scone needed a saw to cut it. Sent it back. Woman that came to speak to me explained that it was steak lorne and tgats what happened when it was kept warm- big sign says food is fresh- no fast food here! . I did get a sausage recorded and that was the standard I did expect- at least I could eat it. I said to til staff that the replacement roll on sausage was much better and was tge standard I expected and a surly female staff member was quite rude. I've been going there for years- maybe they're having an off day,but not good.

Had been recommended this by a friend who said he had visited regularly last year so thought we would give it a go! Overall really disappointing experience and we won’t be back even with the offer of a free breakfast! We entered the cafe which was fine, took our seat and my husband went and ordered. All good and easy enough. we ordered a breakfast, scrambled egg on toast, poached egg on toast with a side of veggie haggis x 2. When it came out there was no veggie haggis on one when my husband said to the server we had ordered it she rudely said you didn’t order that you only asked for one, when he explained what he said she said you never and I haven’t charged you.
