Fantastic restaurant in a beautiful area with staff that cares and food in top-class We were there at 8 pm and sat by the fountain, perfect spot for a good dinner with perfect wine

We found this place courtesy of Tripadvisor and would happily recommend to others. Fresh fish, delicious risotto and great sorbet to follow.We were lucky to get a table as very busy. Great to be able to sit outside and enjoy the evening warmth and very good food. Thank you!

Finally I found a place in Bastia, where chef tries to impress you with the taste of food rather than with the size of it. Fair sized portions still fall short of anything like Michelin level, but at least are somewhere in that direction. Strongly recommended, especially a risotto. Ver carta

We spent a very enjoyable evening here. The food was well prepared and presented and the staff was very agreeable and efficient. Overall, the experience was delightful and we were made to feel very welcome. We had a drink here the evening before and felt the atmosphere was vivacious and the food looked very alluring.

Ok, we are tourists. But....we like to eat were the locals go. We found this restaurant on TA by the very good reviews. Its not situated at the harbour or in the neighbourhood of the citadel. Very good food, or main course was the steak tartare. Very well prepared! Go there of you like new places. And specially in you like good food.

1min walk from the major street of Bastia (Boulevard Paoli), this restaurant provided great food and wine. The highlight was the good quality of products used in the meals and the creativity of the dishes! It is not a cheap restaurant but the ration quality / price is fair. There s a nice terrace under a tree, it was calm so ideal for discussion. Ver carta

We booked a table for 9, and had to wait about 30 minutes to finally can sit. But staff was very nice and friendly and offered us some drinks for excuses the time we had to wait. Dishes are good but not amazing. I think the meat of the tartare was cut into too big pieces .... anyway we had a great time there. And it's good located downtown Bastia on a quiet little square.

On our first evening in Bastia, we found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and... had a great diner! Welcoming staff ensuring a pleasant experience. Correct and pleasantly informal. Menu with a lot to chose (from tapas appetizers and large salads to three or four course dinner. Creative dishes, well prepared and nicely served. Pricing well in line with quality. We arrived early but no problem to sit down on the nice terrace and have a drink.

We stumbled across Nova after some limited research and were pleasantly surprised to find it quaintly located in a narrow street with tables set out into the adjacent square. Food looked stunning and almost matched it with quality. Only slight negative was the slight wait for a bottle of chilled white wine which meant we had to either wait for 15 minutes for it to cool or adulterate it with an ice cube in the glass. In my eagerness we went for the latter option! Few better places in Bastia for a quaint, romantic dinner, although even on a Monday it was quite busy so worth planning ahead. Ver carta
