"It's a nice restaurant, but I question the knowhow in the kitchen. Very good quality of products, but it seams that there are no one having the skill to make it justice. We had a whole piece of beef fillet of fantastic quality, but there were no or very little seasoning. It was though cooked to perfection. The mix of vegetables were undercooked. The sauce quit blend and the fried potatoes undercooked, no seasoning and had a strange taste of not fresh oil. My starter was really good. Last minute fried duck liver with glazed melon and rhubarb chutney. Price: for what it was I have seen better for less. Maine dish 48 Sfr is quite overpriced, not for the meat quality but for the treatment of it."

"We had heard about it and finally today we reserved for two. Particular and welcoming location. Really a friendly environment that I really appreciated. The guy at the service was super helpful even when we asked for a change of plan after having already ordered. We ordered a large platter (which was really large! , a pasta with broccoli and a pasta with clams. To finish, tiramisu and cannoli. I 'm normally a bit of a pain in the ass, but this time I was super happy. For a dinner for two, for an evening with friends, it is the ideal place. We 'll be back."

"Nous somme allés découvrir ce restaurant. L'accueil est très chaleureux. La carte donne envie et nous ne sommes pas déçus en recevant nos assiettes. Les prix sont corrects pour la bonne qualité. Les plats sont très bien présentés et nous mettent l'eau à la bouche. Et lors de la dégustation, les saveurs sont à la hauteur de la présentation.A recommander"

"This is a strange place where staff is friendly but food is definitely not the main focus... not sure they have something homemade ... Meat on a hot plate is not really cooking and therefore you expect the fries and especially the sauce to be homemade.... answer is no... everything is industrial... the only homemade sauce (garlic) was over burned and too salty... So many real restaurants around, don’t waste your time and money !"

"Eating only poultry, several people recommended that I try the chicken burgers at Double R, which is the benchmark for burgers in Yverdon. Quite popular, being that the place is small. You absolutely have to book! First problem, our reservation for 5 people was not recorded. (We had booked a week in advance . The waiter found a solution and moved us to a table where there were already 3 people… let’s move on… 2nd problem, the menu card and a completely torn, greasy and sticky old paper. Honestly, I hoped that the cuisine wasn't up to par... 3rd problem, I order my famous chicken burger which is so recommended and there, the pompom, the waiter tells me that they don't make chicken burgers... that it's the bar next door that does. Whereas the friends I was with came 15 days before and the chicken burger existed. anyway next… So, I ask if there is a salad and the waiter asks me if I want the burger bun with it?! Suggests I put my salad in the burger bun?! I laughed, but I laughed ; So, I told him that a small salad for 6 would go very well and I stole 2 3 fries from my friends ; The story continues with the dessert... on the menu there was a Moelleux au chocolat if I'm not mistaken and well again at the time of ordering he didn't make any, or more and offered other desserts... The only good point for me was the commercial gesture that the waiter made at the end, seeing all the hiccups since the beginning of the evening, offered us the digestive/coffee... And I recommend the little Punch, so good that we had a second one."
