Lovely place.. Lovely food and staff. Great options for vegans. Had the vegan mac and fries. Nice whiskys and ambience.

Great lunch. Seafood linguine was excellent. Fantastic value for money. It was an Itison voucher , reduced menu, but great quality. Service was excellent , very efficient and attentive

Two burgers and a bottle of wine for £30. Bargain!! We had a classic burger and a vegan burger which came with fries and red slaw. Both delicious. Service was excellent and the atmosphere in the bar was quite lively with a mix of local people and hotel residents. If only we lived closer!

We have had our second visit today for lunch and cannot rate it highly enough. Such a warm welcome from all the staff and owner. The food was delicious and the service was excellent from our friendly waiter. Hubby had the burger which was soo tasty and definitely home made. Massive thumbs up to the chef and his team. We will be back!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food really tasteless and unimaginative. Limited choice of vegetarian food. Seemed like it was just sloshed out of a pot that had been around for a while. No garnish either, 1 slice of soggy garlic bread already half submerged in sauce instead of on a side plate. Child's meal dull with very little sauce. What a pity as could have been so much better as pub looked nice. I actually feel quite ill now

Lovely warm welcome, attentive service. Good menu choice which the 6 of us ordered a wide variety of. Jess our waitress was knowledgeable and helped with our selections. Good recommendations for lasagna which was authentic and delicious. Great wine selection of Sauv and Viognier. We then moved onto Cocktails made by Alex on the bar which were fresh and strong just how I like them. All round lovely evening, Thanks again for a nice night, We will return.

I will be diplomatic here. This has to be the worst lunch I've had, in what is meant to be a good venue. The lunch menu was minimal, with very small portions, the presentation was also very poor. The young lady taking the order tried telling me to go for the macaroni. She knew something I didn't. I ordered steak pie, it came with chips (typical) and peas. My suggestion is that if you are going to advertise lunch, please don't insult your guests. Very poor and bland.

Brilliant place to stay and eat. We were greeted by a very helpful and charming young lady Sophie. She quickly and professionally booked us in and showed us to he room. The room was beautiful presented and was not only clean but very comfortable. Dinner was superb. The best Hake fish dish I've had. Breakfast was top notch. Jill who served us in the evening and at breakfast couldn't have been better. The owners of the Inn are lucky to have someone of that calibre working front of house. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this atmospheric and welcoming Inn.

Really enjoyed our overnight stay here in this beautiful Inn. We also enjoyed an evening meal in the bar and breakfast. Staff- we were welcomed by John who was friendly, efficient and very helpful with info about the local area. The staff in the evening and at breakfast were also super friendly and helpful . Food !!… I was shocked to read a couple of recent reviews as the food was faultless! Our evening meal was lovely, very tasty , well presented and value for money. There was equally a good choice of wine and other beverages. Breakfast was equally as tasty and delicious, we were definitely set up for the day . So thank you John and team we will definitely return when in the area .
