The first time I visited The Old Buttercross, both the food and the staff were excellent. The restaurant itself was really impressive, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

We have been to The Old Buttercross 4 times now and every one has been a hit!. The food, service and value for money are spot on. We were disappointed that the table we had requested was not reserved for us, and to make matters worse, there was no steak available—this has happened to us twice now. It's hard to believe a restaurant can run out of steak, it seems almost absurd. Thankfully, we weren't celebrating anything special. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 4.

The staff were incredible and extremely accommodating for our large group. The food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know. I will certainly be returning soon, as this has become my go-to pub—the food is consistently great and the service is fantastic as well. Price per person: £40–50. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. I've dined here several times with friends and family, and I can confidently say we've never had a bad meal or experienced poor service. The staff is always very helpful, and the value for money is excellent. To top it all off, we celebrated New Year's Eve there. The food was fantastic, and the staff was cheerful and accommodating. Plus, we even had Elvis performing! It was brilliant—keep up the great work!

Not great would not recommend the Buttercross Oakham, the Sugar Mill Bourne or the Tulip Queen Spalding. There's never what you want available on the menu theyve alway ran out, and the staff can't be bothered, and none of them are that clean overall but especially the toilets!!! Don't waste your money. Needs looking at overall if the chain is to survive in this day and age!!!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
